In a significant development in the last few days, Sri Lankan forces and their Tamil auxiliaries had been striking deep into LTTE-held territories in the North-East of the island, including an area believed to be hosting the main communication base of the Tiger chieftain, Velupillai Prabhakaran.

Hmm what's the source for this HT? Hindustan Times?
Anyway so guess the lame government denials over this incident are jsut another bunch of lies from the master of lies then eh hehe:
A CLAYMORE mine exploded in northern Sri Lanka today, killing two government agriculture officials, the Tamil Tiger rebels said, as government planes bombed rebel bases for a fourth consecutive day.
The Tigers said a Sri Lankan army group had crossed into the rebel-controlled Nedunkeni area, apparently to target rebels but hit government officials by mistake.
...
'It is 20-25 kilometres inside. We don't have anyone there. We totally deny this,'' Brigadier Prasad Samarasinghe said.
Man this prasad spokesmonkey is becoming even funnier than Rumbutard these days. Edited By - Revy - 5 Jan 2007 17:51:09 GMT |

Ruchira,
Oh come on machan
Yes bro. You can look up any website you like, pro- or anti-tiger. And back then, the tigers were a united force, not split in 2 as it is now. And yes, they were to become a match for the Lankan army. But now, things are a bit different aren't they? |
