COLOMBO, Sri Lanka: A bomb exploded aboard a bus in western Sri Lanka on Friday, causing injuries to an unknown number of people, police said.

As long as these 'people' were armed unarmed saliors or other such criminals then great whoever did it, hope its not civilians, otherwise it will automatically be the LTTE.

Despite incidents such as these:

Vehicle explosion at Alwis Town - Wattala

2nd Lead

A vehicle explosion took place at Alwis Place in Wattala at 8:30 a.m. today, Friday the 29th of December 2006.

The vehicle was destroyed completely due to the explosion and the driver of the Van who suffered injuries was admitted to the teaching hospital in Ragama immediately.

It is reveled that the van was destroyed due to the explosion of the pressure mine, which had been fixed inside the van.

It is further reveled that the cause for the explosion is a personnel conflict between two groups of people in the area.

Wattala Police is conducting further investigations on this incident.

	Puli007, It's a good news if it's true. India should not be involved in Sri lanka's genocide. And SL govt have NO RIGHT to take a decision without the people, we are in democracy. So if they want to build something in NE, Tamil people have to give their right, it's how a democracy works. We want not another controversy like the Buddha statue that was forcebily built by the Sri lankan govt.

The Indian government has rejected the controversial eastern Sampoor area as the possible site for the construction of a 500-MW coal-fired thermal power project. The move came after protests by Sri Lanka?s Tamil Tiger rebels and the pro rebel Tamil National Alliance. They said the project had a ?hidden political agenda? to evict Tamils from the Sampoor region.

silly sri lankans. no one wants power plant in south no one wants power plants in north also no one wants power plants everywhere protests. Hambanthota strike on power plants Sampoor strike on power plants. The land wont fly away. Having a power plant will secure jobs for people and develop the area. If GOSL wants to displace tamils they would start it from Walawatta not from sampoor.

This always happen in Sri Lanka, when GOSL gets cornered by international community they start small bombs in south and blame LTTE and justify their killing of tamils in north and east.

When O/L students were abducted in Thirukkovil ..it was SLA white vans
When LTTE pirated the ship..it was saving the sailors

I do not know who exploded the bomb in the bus, and I dont think you know either, but just go on talking rubbish!

Innocents have nothing to do in this fight between SLA and LTTE.

Speak Truth, God will give you back the money.

I know there are a lot of Sinhala racists who enjoy when Tamil innocents are killed by SLA bombing, but it's not a reason for us Tamils to enjoy the death of Sinhala innocents killed in a bus explosion.

Brother, Tamils should not imitate these racists.
Use your voice to counter their racism not hatred. Ok bro ?
