The list of Tamils killed.......is there any evidence who killed them.............or is it just your suspicion or just a hunch or just a wild accusation.
Nothing is ever prooven.
There is no need for Tamils to kill Tamils so I suspect it is the undercover security forces who do all the killing and as usual blame the Tamils or the LTTE. |

The Tamils collectively must take responsibility for the current predicament of the fellow Tamils who are left behind to take the brunt of the brutalities of GOSL.
But the Sinhalese must also take a good look at themselves; in 1948, the Sri Lanka gained independence with the power base basically transferring to the majority Sinhalese; the minorities were at mercy at the hands of the Sinhalese.
Did the Sinhalese collectively treat the minorities with respect? No!
Did the Sinhalese respect the true principles of democracy? No, no!
Did the Sinhalese accommodate the minorities with absolute equality? No, no, no!
The Tamil polity tried and fought following the Ghandian philosophy, rightly or wrongly, to gain recognition for the Tamils, but ended up with egg on their faces. Let?s remind ourselves that this is why the GOSL is presently dealing with LTTE.
I see criticisms from the Sinhalese that the Tamil Diaspora finance the LTTE. I ask the Sinhalese; let?s reverse the situation by putting the Sinhalese in the Tamils? shoes; wouldn?t they do the same thing? Of course they would!
Has there ever been a national consensus among the Sinhala polity as to a viable solution to the national question? A big no! What is the outcome of the recent collaborative talks between MR and RW? What has happened to the recommendations of the Peace Panel?

What a pathetic statement given the history of Sinhala polity! Only Tamils in Sri Lanka know that the Sinhala political parties use the Tamils as political football to get elected. They can say anything, then, once the opposition in collaboration with the chauvinist take the centre stage, the ruling party will abandon any concessions promised. But, the Tamils also know, most importantly, that the LTTE is the only body, presently, that is acting on their behalf with a considerable bargaining power; this is why the Tamil Diaspora backs LTTE! Is this a surprise?
Now the question is as to how one could stop the Tamil Diaspora from contributing to the LTTE, and most importantly bring the Tamil nationalism towards democracy. I for one strongly believe when the Tamil Diaspora were to see a genuine tangible and viable devolution proposal, put forward by the GOSL, recognising the N&E as principally populated by the Tamils, one would see that the Tamils around the world putting pressure on the LTTE. As it stands now, what they see is blatant attempts by the successive Sri Lankan governments to crush the Tamil nationalism in order to establish the Sinhala Buddhist Hegemony.
There is no other way; the Sinhalese must understand that the Tamils are also Sri Lankans with their own language and culture. Sri Lanka is not just for the Sinhala Buddhists; rather, it is a secular nation with diversity: the Sinhalese happen to be the majority. |

Being a tamil terrorist, Yes it's punishable, live like a honarable Sri Lankan Tamil like most of the Tamils live in Colombo and other areas will be given respect.I have so many Tamil friends who live with dignity.you support terrorism, you loose respect and you will loose your life too.simple as that. |

Iiya you said you will get to Vharai in two days three months later you say anothe rtwo months. If LTTE is in strong then why is it taking such a long time. No wonder they call you Modaya. You ahve incresed the number and equipment in the last 25 years but LLTE has more area under their control than 25 yeras ago who is strong need I say more |
