if there is NO lTTE then the GOSL doesnt have to answer to anyone!
A Govt will always have to answer to its people and international community. On the other hand LTTE leadership do not have to answer to the tamils in Sri lanka or the tamil disapora.
remember if the LTTE goes down the entire island is going down!
Island is already 'down'. I'm sure people will take the LTTE leadership down too, if there is anything else left to go 'down' |

They don't even answer to their own people and choose to muzzel their media and anyone who speaks out agains them is immediately and viciously setupon, just like this editor over the bunker issue. This and all previous SL governments, save perhaps RW's, are jokes answerable to no one. |

by the same token the LTTE which runs a DEFACTO state also has to answer to the IC. Thats why its not unleashed its full fury. But it will in due course.
putting the economy is a coma will enable to LTTE to not unleah its full fury and save the island from further bloodshed. How they go about it is anyones guess.

phd does go slowly most of the time. you have to work with consistent effort, otherwise you get more behind. also original thinking is important. supervisor is also important, as some supervisors are very bad and unco -operative and this can prevent you from progressing . these days people are taking about 3 1/2 years for their phds, i think it is longer than before |
