Yes the interesting pattern that only survivors in GoSL custody say what the GoSL want them to say. Also interesting that the school girl later died???

Sundog

Thanks! I am not happy if civilians have interfeared. If LTTE and SLA-force want, let them fight. What we cannot afford is torturing of innocent lives by any armed group or accdently by armed forces.

Kind regards and Happy New Year!

Sea tiger base was destroyed . motar possition may be close to a civilian area

Sundog the mortar position was in the east not the same site as this attack.

Anyway as I see it this is just a major blunder by the SLAF on two fronts.

One they hit the wrong target, thus they have given warning to any actual sea tiger base at Iluppaikadawali and they killed all these civilians.

Mahabala,
If the children are killed by the cowards, you say it is accident. What a 'reasonable' person you are .You are an impostor, shedding crocodile tears for the victims.

Whenever we attack their camps and bases they come up this type of story,'' Silva said of the rebel claim that the victims were civilians and not Sea Tiger members

Truth reproduces Itself as 'natural facts'. The closer the source of information is to the environment in which it is born the more 'natural' the facts are likely to be. But remaining 'local' is very difficult in Sri Lanka during current times.

Below is what the UN says about the attack:

Today's killings took place in north-western Sri Lanka during the aerial bombardment of the LTTE-controlled coastal village of Illupaikadavai in Mannar District by the Sri Lankan Air Force, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. A number of children were reported killed and at least 35 other civilians injured.
