| Civilian deaths are unfortunate results of war. War bring human suffering and some still believe that it brings a mythical dreamland. The very same people who advocate war now crying for the results of what they advocate. Let's hope that peace is not far out in distance. Dont' know about you, but I am eagerly waiting for the govt proposal for the final solution. Once east is liberated from the brutal LTTE warlords, tamil/sinhala/muslim people in the eastern province can be self governed. Eastern province should be an example to the rest. That is my wish for the new year. |

IC put pressure on both parties, especially on the government. SLAF and the government are answerable to IC so that SLAF has to convince every one that they have bombed Tiger camps. There is no reason for SLAF to bomb indiscriminately. They were pretty sure about their target and published the video evidence.
Why not SLMM/ICRC visit the place and verify it??
When there is an attack, every time LTTE come up with stories. They never publish the truth.
Perhaps there were civilians casualties. If that the case, we should condemn it. However, due to propaganda from both sides, no one can find the truth.

Revy, Govt. doesn't go and tell the world they are 'sole representatives' . And in this case 'sole representatives' of the Tamil People. Where as LTTE claim to be 'sole representatives' of the Tamil People. Not just Sri Lankan Tamils, but Tamil people. Thats like what ... nearly 74 million Tamils in the world. Yet they can't even protect and look after the welfare of approx. 200,000 Tamils under their direct control. Is this inefficiency or purely lack interest on the people they claim to be represent?
But they don't forget to collect the 'taxes' from the people.

Makaso, I don't think it was delibirate this time, but I think they bombed the wrong target, because they clearly state they intended to hit Iluppaikadawali, but that is not the town they hit.
The video is missing now BTW and ICRC have visited the site. SLMM I believe is not working the field anymore, Rumbuttan was crying about this earlier, little girl only knows how to cry about everything. |
