Swathi,
They are military secrets, that's what they say. Hardliner SF will be proved he got it wrong again. No military solution is possible in Sri Lanka. The Southeren youths are not interested in this war, but, their poverty and hence the money prompts them to join the security forces. The people who want war on both sides are safe in Sri Lanka or abroad. Their children don't care if it is Sinhalese or Tamil, they study English and their future is guranteed.
People like Thivya need not prove anything to hardline extremists. |

Vishmitha,
What proof do you have on this?
You can get 1000s of proof but for you to get the pulse of the proof you better learn Tamil I mean the language |

All dividing forces including LTTE must be eleminated.
They are all one and the same, Tamil or Sinhalese, they serve the same purpose of dividing creating a weaker nation.
I agree with Vishmitha... |

Mahabala,
Sounds like personal issue. Be polite and respectful for any country where you live. God save you and your kids!
What is personal and what is National / Global? If I am able to raise it to the National / International levels it is no longer a personal issue. If I were interested only at personal level, I would have sought another job and risen to higher positions from the already high position I was holding.
The thinking of the individual is very important. If you still do not know that I include others at National & Interantional level - then you do not appreciate my work at the global level. Perhaps you are not able to include others in your thinking except at the theoretical level. It was this that caused the war on the side of Tamils.
Had you been in power - say a Minister and had I written to you a similar letter - you are likely to have considered it 'personal'. There are real solutions for Sri Lankans in that letter. It's a pity that you do not recognize them.
According to you, I am not respectful of the country I live in. Hence you are against any Tamil or other miniority that opposes government intellectually. How can you every find Peace in Sri Lanka with that kind of attitude? This is why majority Tamils who support the LTTE say that they tried other ways and that those other ways did not work. You are confirming them right.
Sorry for this happening!
I am not sorry. I am stronger for the experience and I know what Australia NEEDS. Do you know what your country NEEDS? Or are you happy with handouts? Grow up Mahabala

PS - you have to become part of the problem to FIND the answer yourself. That is all I am doing. YOu on the other hand are disowning to 'look' right. Edited By - Gaja - 3 Jan 2007 05:48:32 GMT |

| You cannot eliminate and has not happened in this world...the only solution is political and if GOSL cannot come up with one then we are going to see more destructions. |

LionD:
I dont feel having a girl/boy friend from any ethnic group is a problem in this forum.
I would like to think so too.
But:
Dhanushka83 announced he had a Tamil GF.
This was Siva's reply on page 31 - slags off the girl ... because she must be abused if she is with a Sinhalese boy.
Folks!
Dunce83 has a Tamil gal ... must be 'hot air' Kusu's sister/daughter :-) Only that kind would put up with a 'true player' like our Slice & Dice prodigy of 83 fame!
Cheers
Siva
Ruchira joins in on page 32:
A fish man. LoL
Siva is now stretching his intellectual abilities with this one on page 32:
Dunce83 is courting a fish ... a Beached Whale no doubt!
Siva can't help himself - still on page 32
OK, Got it!
Dunce83 is dating a Blond Beached Whale |

Magha,
Gaja Lakshmi,
Mr Brown has given you a web page why don't you put your letters there than posting it here under relevent headings.
Happy new year to you.
Happy new year to you too.
What is the difference between postings here and in the special area? To me it is like new medical discoveries to use which we find new diseases. We lived quite effectively without that special space. As I have said 'I WILL NOT BE TOLD'. Mr. Brown failed to respect my work of International standards. If I had written this under UN or even Australian government banner - Mr. Brown would have published it any way he could - because I am of Sri Lankan origin. It's a pity that you also seek to comply rather than think independently. I expected better from you.
If there is a special rule / principle - then that must be stated and all 'personal' posts must be posted in that special area. I do find such individual interests which have nothing to do with the ethnic war in Sri Lanka and the global solution we are seeking to come out of that war. My work on the other hand has the answers. Those who value and appreciate me recognize this value and benefit from this. Others 'think' they are able to judge and miss out on the real value - and feel the pleasure of 'telling' me.
If I am wrong as per common principles then Mr. Brown has the duty to discipline me. So far, I have not received any such warning from him since our debate over the last and only warning I received. I would also insist on all members of the forum being disciplined on that basis - irrespective of our race, religion and age.
At the local level - it is a Sri Lankan issue. At the International level - it is a Race issue. Given that I am an international citizen - I address it as a Race issue. Are you not one magha?
love
gaja
PS - Magha, if this forum is not able to specify its principles in democratic language - what hope do we have for the poorer organisations? - especially Sri Lankan Public Service? Edited By - Gaja - 3 Jan 2007 06:01:44 GMT |
