Heh it all good I'm used to it now, I can tell from the subject matter who it was for in this case.
Well we will see, the IC is calling for implementation of the existing CFA and strengthening of it. If they stand by this then there is not much the GoSL can do. If they only pay it lip service and then do nothing then sure GoSL can ask for all sorts of things.
but recal even at Geneva one they wanted to redo the CFA, the LTTE would have none of it and the discussion ended up being only about the CFA and no changes to it, of course in the end it didn't matter since the GoSL had no intention of abiding by anything they agreed to anyway, and as actions proved thney did no abide by even one thing they agreed to.
So even this time I am pretty sure the LTTE are not going to budge on the fundamental problem, which is to fully implement the CFA, which has not been done to date. Again I doubt the GoSL will do this even if they agree to it.
So I see all out offensive war from the LTTE in the near future.
Anyway I am off again so all of you, raves, sansare, ML, PKF, Chandana, whoever else I have missed have a good day/night and we'll chat again. Edited By - Revy - 1 Oct 2006 05:10:28 GMT |

Raves,
ltte spokesman said after Sampoor, if the SLMM rules that the capture of Sampoor ended the CFA then ltte will declare full scale war.
Full scale war is a flop so far... |

REY,
So even this time I am pretty sure the LTTE are not going to budge on the fundamental problem, which is to fully implement the CFA, which has not been done to date. Again I doubt the GoSL will do this even if they agree to it.
The very CFA set for the peace is now became a obstacle to start talks.
When they had talks last time, I wondered why, GOSL talking about disarming all armed groups....
I though its going to mean LTTE too.
But, later it became disarm groups in GOSL control area.
But, LTTE stick to the exact 1 pound, by keep asking to remove Karuna.
LTTE knows, GOSL will not do that.
If GOSL hit Karuna, any other LTTE man never go away from LTTE.
So, LTTE wanted to trap GOSL by 2 ways, disarm Karuna and also to prevent any more double-crossing..
But, now its time go forward for talk...
So I see all out offensive war from the LTTE in the near future.
This is not going to happened REY, trust me. LTTE are not strong enough as we though. I think they have very strong few battalions deep in the jungle, and they may have other targets like, hitting economy, and so on.
But, now SLAF is in full action.
Can you see, they are hitting daily and get more and more trainnig...
Time to end and time to settle for peace with dignity.
It will help LTTE retain EP, and grab the power... politically. Edited By - sansare - 1 Oct 2006 05:24:49 GMT |

This is how some of the opposition stalwarts think about MR and the present millitary campaign to defeat terrorism in this land of Sri Lanka.
Someone from the opposition atleast telling the truth..
Good to see that.. Edited By - mavilaru - 1 Oct 2006 05:29:49 GMT |
