'The majority of the military commanders are becoming old and infirm. Because of lack of leadership, poor cadres are becoming easy victims,' Karuna told the Colombo-based The Sunday Times in an interview.

'With my departure, Prabhakaran is facing serious drawbacks.'

Jana,

Exactly Buddy. Berty believes both fakedada and Jana are my self. I tried to convince its not the case but he would not trust me because we all have been in the forum simulateanously. Now to be honest I don't know how to write Tamil and that can prove Berty that fake dada or/and Jana is not me (JRJ). This whole thing is very complicated.

I hope Berty realises that due to real dada's convenience in the password everything went out of reach. Anybody can be fake dada for that matter. Funny thing is Berty picked on me because I didn't agree on his political analysis.

Jana, Buddy I would not accuse anyone just because I don't agree his/her politics for that matter as that is not fair. Politics is different from ones personal esteem.

I am leaving now buddy. I guess you can clarify this to Berty too.

May I suggest two additional conditions

1. LTTE should refrain from recruiting or susing child soldiers for any of their activities

2. LTTE should not disturb the the educational activities of children in the NOrth & East with their self defence and other programmes.

Conditions for talks:

1.SLA and its paramilitaries must not kidnap or kill children or molest them.

2.SLA must let the civilians return to their own homes as laid down in the CFA.

3.Government must let the essential goods reach Northeast so that people must be able to buy whatever they want to eat.

4. Gosl must table peace proposals for negotiations and not do political propaganda. Still no proposals are ready.

5. GOSL must disarm all the hired killers in the Northeast and Colombo.

Sintamus,

Conditions for talks:

Your conditons would not materialise my friend they are just good for your self satisfaction because after all LTTE are not a bunch of saints who did nothing sit and meditate. If you're asking the conditions to be implemented then please consider bringing back to life forms of those who have been murdered by the LTTE since last november.

You and I both wasting time in setting conditions. Forget the CFA, LTTE violated to the maximum and SLMM didn't care for two hoots and still the same.

Its either the ltte come for talks with a meaning or just waste the time as usual doing monkey business. I see the latter most likely case scenario.

I just responded to one moron.

Do you know what this talk is about? Normally there must be at least an outline of proposals or concrete proposals to talk. Both sides but conditions to explain their respective positions, they are not interested inthe talks at all. If they are the terms of the previous agreements would have been implemented or complied with.

They two miscalculate that the other party is weaker and therefore it's time to impose one's will on the other. This happened many times before. Unless the govt puts forward its genuine proposals and both negotiate on them there is no peace.
