Mr Brown,
I am working on making fundamental changes to the back end of lnp to scale better in the future. please bare with me.
Many thanks for that info. Yes, LNP is getting more and more members with plenty of views at the same time submitted than it started around 2 years ago.
So your effort on to improve is very much appreciated.

could be a good break from the GOSL Vs LTTE issue |

Hey Anizam,
Hashini - you still didnt respond.....
Bro, just leave the girls alone.
I think what matters here is they have their concerted views. Ruwani believes in military result whereas Hashini believes in power devolution.
Bro, its bit like us V JVP bros.

MaKaSo and others,
I want to get your opinion on this idea. I am thinking of giving a dedicated space for each senior member to run thier own home page.
The format of the address will be like: http://www.lankanewspapers.com/MaKaSo
MaKaSo(for example) could post articles, post pictures, start new discussions here. It's gonna be modetrated by him. It's his space on Lankanewspapers.
What are the pros and cons you see in this? I am taking too much of a risk here by introducing this?
Thanks!

I have no objection on you providing such web space for the seniors.
But I have seen some Seniors with more than 3000 posts have many posts nothing to do with the current politics or social affairs e.g. writing music lyrics, copy and paste from google. I don't think your efforts will pay dividends if the so-called Seniors keep writing the same kind of posts over and over.
We would like entertainment but imagine getting seniority with more than 90% posts written about lyrics, audio technology, and chit chat etc.
So make sure your efforts are worthwhile in trying to help us giving web space. I believe you must give a priority option for those Seniors who have written more constructive discussions than mere chit chatting. e.g. less posts with the Seniority, members may be a good choice in sieving the so-called seniors.
thanks

Mr. Brown:
I believe such approach of having separate forums by senior members would dilute the forums. Having everyone under one forum would make it more interesting. That is my opinion. I prefer the way it is for the discussion forum.
However, I don't mind having a chat room for the forum members to interact off-topic issues such as matchmaking and fights. This chat room should be open only for a short time on daily basis to reduce dilution. Chat room with private chat sessions would reduce personal attacks in the forum and would help keep it clean. Just an idea.

| One more thing... There will be an exodus to Hashini's private forum and no one will be left in the main forum. No offense hashini.. LOL |
