Just like Ruwani you also need attention with your worthless words. I think it is obvious good if I ignore both of you.
Sis, I am not going to white paint Vinivida here. But you have to understand he's a different guy than Ruwani. I like Vinivida's post which consist of some truth and in fact I consider him as a moderate.
What he says is true, we have come a long way in this barren period of hatred and love through thick and thin. What matters is we need solutions sis. Vinivida is not against tamils and I see that and perhaps many tamil members read Vinivida wrongly as a racist, therefore I feel for him. But his posts are directed at LTTE only. What he says is we must get rid of LTTE and support tamils which I believe too.
The question is we need effective way of caging this mad man. This cannot be done through hypocritical politicians. What we need is good quality dedicated leadership.
Do we have that? I am still asking even from Vinivida. I like to think yes, but still I'm searching for answers sis.
Finally we cannot hate each other because one way or the other we live together and we cannot hate each other that is way beyond happening.

pardon me for my ignorance, i thought Sinhalese women are more kinder.....yet what do i know about Sinhalese women. I just go by what my mom says.....I know my sisters are kinder.. |

The fact the matter is even if Sinhalese refused to believe this many Tamils support LTTE. LTTE is their rightful representation. It is a question of Ours Vs yours. They rather be represented by LTTE than GOSL. When we talk about VP, we also need to talk about our leaders. I have no respect for VP but what about the souther politicians?
LTTE supporters hate SLA personnel, LTTE haters hate LTTE cadres - they are both there to defend the so called populations they represent - but at the end of the day, who are the loosers? we all are.
We cannot beat this war everyday. We need a viable solution. There are many options open if we need to find a solution. If you want to honestly end this conflict you cannot say we don't need this federal solution, that federal solution - you need to have an open mind and say any solution other than the path of war. At the end of the day war breeds more hatred, more misunderstanding, more refugees, more poverty, more depriviation of libery to live!
We both have responsibility in this. It is due to souths unfaithful attitude that LTTE builds its military, it is due to LTTE's unfaithful attitude that South is always seeking to beat the LTTE - what LTTE and South leadership both need to realize is it is the common people who loose out on life.
People who live in other countries support this war be it Tamil or sinhala because they don't understand the day to day life. Ask anyone in the conflicted zone and they will tell you otherwise. |

we need to maintain rigid approach with clear cut solution
1)anti-war protest in the south is essential for any govt to push
peace deals.
2)no govt in the south need ltte to participate in peace talks to
find a solution. you implement a solution what is agreeable to you
with the help of IC . sooner or later you will need to address the Tamil grievances
any way. by doing that ,you will effectively corner ltte without
any doubt and ltte will find a way to transform it self. |
