2) Finding Nemo - Redefined the computer animated-film genera. Fantastic story line and execution.
i have this and also the following ones. these are definitely classic stuff.
madagascar, bugs life, Lion king.
apart from the animation the audio itself is just great. |

Bro, Have you seen any old Sinhalese movies other than the new ones?
I mean 70s or 80s?
There wre really good ones.
Dadayama, Kawluwa, Wasanthey Dawasak, Eya Den Loku Lamayek, Gehenu Lamai, Kalu diya dahara, Deviyani Oba Kohida?
Let me know we may talk about this. By the way I am not sure how old are you, if you are so young in your 20s then I excuse for that. Because I'm in my early 40s.

You are right, we some times forget about D.B Nihalsingha whose has directed a few ,but excellent movies starting from 'Welikathara'. The combination of Nihalsingha's cinematic genius with Gamini Fonseka and Joe Abeywickrama's equally powerful acting made Welikathara a land mark in the history of cinema in Sri Lanka. I wonder many would remember a short film Nihalsingha made 'Bhakthi'.
Interestingly the most of the movies Gamini Fonseka acted were just crap, though he was one of the best actors we ever had. His ability as an actor and artistic creativity was best shown when he directed and acted at the same time in 'Parasathumal'. No artist I know of, in the field of cinema in Sri Lanka was able to do what he did in 'Parasathumal. |

Gehenu Lamai, a beautiful movie acted by Vasanthi Chathurani and Shyama Anandan's sister. ( Shyama Anandan- Chandi Shyama) Vasanthi in her early life in cinema. Bullet gediya!! Movie was scintillating.

BTW, Areally classical Tamil movie ' Thillaana Mohanaambal' acted by Sivaji and Pathmini, the Ballerina of South Indian cinema died yesterday at age 72. She attended an awards ceremony to Chief Minister and Poet Karunanidhi the day before.

FYI: The name of this movie is not 'Apoorva Sahodarargal' this movie got a deferent title. The movie 'Apoorva Sahodarargal' was acted by Kamal Hasan whereas this movie acted by RajaniKanth.
Please clarify one thing for the reason to put this movie here in this forum.
