So from where are they going to get the rest 18,000 troops.Looks like there is going to be a very hard time for sinhala state terrorist security forces.

nale well according to this news they are now sending criminals up to Jaffna, ostensibily to help unload supplies and farm...but this part got me:

Sri Lanka's prisons chief has sent 100 prisoners convicted of petty crimes to help the military unload emergency food supplies shipped to the northern Jaffna peninsula, the site of the worst fighting since a 2002 truce...

The prisoners live alongside troops at this military base in a high security zone off limits to civilians and peppered with the ruins of homes flattened by years of past shelling and the 2004 tsunami.

Sure sounds like a back door draft to me, lol hey Sinhala people don't be shoplifting, or next thing you know you will be cannon fodder at the front lines in Jaffna.

Oh forgot to add, that with this move the GoSL is making themselves look good in the IC yet again LOL:

'You can't move prisoners to a war zone. This is basically a violation of the Geneva convention,' said Bijo Francis, a programme officer at the Hong Kong-based Asian Human Rights Commission.

ML:
Then again it goes back to human evolution where females were sopposed to look after children and their fathers.....so, males were evolved in to bread winners and females had no option rather than go for the fittest male of the herd to avoid starving in hard times ....it was a give and take situation .........its in the human genes I guess.

LOL I did not need deep analogy I am pretty sure that is what happened. I bet many years ago men were much more fortunate thatn the predicament they are placed today
