Mahinda`s Norway call irks JHU, JVP

President Mahinda Rajapakse has earned the wrath of the JVP and JHU over his decision to enhance bi-lateral relations with Norway.
JVP heavyweight Wimal Weerawansa told The Island yesterday that President Rajapakse`s actions would only pave the way for the LTTE to achieve Eelam.
President Rajapakse had during his meeting with Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Steltenberg, in New York, called for better relations between the two governments and said that the Norwegian role in Sri Lanka should not be restricted to the peace process.
`The Norwegians` dream is also Tamil Eelam. If President Rajapakse wants the Norwegians in the peace
process, he is following in Ranil Wickremasinghe`s footsteps and will come in for severe public criticism,` Weerawansa said.
JHU Parliamentary group leader Ven. Athureliye Rathana Thero said President Rajapakse must give his reasons for sticking with Norway. He said, according to Mahinda Chinthanaya, the LTTE must lay down arms before the peace talks begin, but the Norwegians would not allow the LTTE to lay down arms.

| Mahinda knowingly or unknowingly playing to the hands of the LTTEers by falling to Norways tactics. But I am sure JVP will carefully choose their political decisions so as to protect the country. |

JVP and JHU are the enemies of this country because they are the obstacle for the prosperity that can emerge through a peaceful solution to the tamil minority through dialogue.
Mahinda should disassociate with this evil group of scoundrel who are only working for self benefits while preaching racism. |

I am 109% against JVP + JHU policies but please dont blame them on this issue. They are only asking for what they were promised. The worked hard for MR victory and now they are asking for what they were promised.
I have always meaintained here that MR is the BIGGEST FRAUD ever to be born in SL. His whole political life is a fraud. His whole political life is based on hood winking people. There is nothing of substance to show for 35 years in politicals. Only big talk, a charming smile and a red towel.
He thought he could just play the racist card, use the JVP + JHU, makes fools out of all the village idiots and come to power and then after that he can do what his oppornant wanted to do. All this is the hall marks of the biggest policial fraud ever to take power in SL.
If you are blaming anyone blame MR for this not the JVP + JHU.!!! |

...I am 109% against JVP + JHU policies..........
So what do you want? policies of SLFP? or UNP? or LTTE? or NGO's? or the so called international rogues?. But I agree with your comment on JHU anyway.
Man.......... this is a conflict between imperialistic forces who represent the neo colonialism and are trying to regain our country and the patriotic forces who are aware of this conspiracy and organized properly to face it. UNP,LTTE,some of the INGO's and NGO's and some idiots in the gov. are obviously taken the side of our country's enemies and the JVP and the patriotic people who love our country in the other side. |

Ani,
Machang, why 109%?
It should be 108%. (Cabraal only said the growth rate was eight percent)
Probably, when the economy grows by 8%, punnakku consumption might grow by 9%. :-)
