They are not discriminated just because of their race in sri lanka.
And they don't have any other reasonable grievance
well done old boy, who knows better about the grievances of Tamils in Sri Lanka than us Sinhalese?!
How dare they try to contradict us when we tell them how they should feel. The nerve of them!!

Your submission is double mine in length. So I conclude that you are trying to dictate to me.
You say FIRSTLY
I know you live in Australia that is no mater for me.
Then ask yourself why you wasted your energy to mention it.

qualifications or about your friends either( I believe I am very much younger than you).
I did not show any of these specifically to you. Hence I conclude that you write this to try to position yourself above me - by stating that you do not care about the people I have added to myself during my lifetime - which is likely to be far above your people wealth / human resources.

No like in Australia, it is a combination of many factors. When you live as a minority in an economically powerful country - you would experience this Truth as a minority. It's when you remove the economic factor that you would know whether it is race based or not.
Discrimination takes palce - through individuals as well as groups. Sri Lank has the reputation of having discriminated against Tamils at the Policy level - through its language an higher education policies. If you genuinely do not know this - then I conclude that you are acting as an individual who is not conscious of common policies.

The Tigers believe they have. I believe that every Sri Lankan has the right to govern her/himself through Common Laws administered by intellectually superior individuals. I am a Public Administrator and hence that is my preferred path - compared to majority vote.
You say IF you challange me I can Prove my statent with concrete evidence.
When I have physical custody of power at National level in Sri Lanka - I would give that offer consideration. Not now.
You say It is no wonder you believe LTTE as freedom fighters. as some still believe Al Qaeda also as Freedom fighters
But then majority Sinhalese say that Sri Lankan Government is democratic. We are all entitled to our own beliefs - until we seek to share common resources.

Guys,
Everyone has his/her ideas and comments on this forum. If you disagree with some just ignore and continue discussing the article.
MR and all Presidents to UN assembly simply go on talking about the problems and there is no build up of any solutions. Everytime it is said that the GOSL is committed for peaceful resolution.
What is really happening...no solution in hand...and war is going on with deaths of many innocent people on a daily basis.
Without talking about the problems why not we talk about a solution |
