Dear Mr. vimukthi
I must say compared to the delusional rantings of some of our 'faketriots' you at least are honest in your intentions to commit mass murder. Because that sir, is what you are advocating with extending the war to Iran et al. - a huge blood bath that will see the extermination of thousands of innocents.
I have not advocated a war with Iran in any of my postings .. what I highlighted is a definitive threat to the National Security of the United Sates .. how the present or any future US administration regards that threat and chooses to deal with it we will have to wait and see .. I don't think I need to make this point any clearer .. But yes .. if the present administration decides that a war with iran is the best solution to that threat then many innocent thousands will die .. I do not support such a course of action.

Despite what you say, my American friend, I do agree with TC on many points, he is my Lankan brother, son of the same soil, and a man of principles, so I will simply paraphrase what he had to say about 'National Security' - treat others the way you want to be treated - and there will be a vast scaling down of any security threats.
I would advise the US govt. to stop interfering in other countries affairs. Move from a policy of threatening and dominating to a policy of cooperating and helping and our children will inherit a different world. |

i think i told you this before.
Nothing a Few hugs and Tears cant Do! and dont hold back on the tears!! and first time you take her to meet them ask her if she will wear a Punjabi (sari is better but its complicated man!) or whatever they call it these days as opposed to a mini skirt! just to soften the impact.
I have been close to a few who had to resort to all this stuff including youre truly! |

The threat is very real .. its not perceived. There is a clear and present danger that affects the national Security of the United States .. Lets just say certain covert measure are be undertaken to neutralise some of these threats. |

That indeed was a long errand :o) .. but im back today ..
1)implement CFA immediately - end all violence immediately on all sides
2) hold talks to provide just solution to Tamils of NE
3) work together with LTTE and Muslim groups and civil society groups to meet the pressing needs of IDP's and civilians.
4) organize 'village to village' and 'town to town' meetings between all Lankan communities to create a dialogue among the people about what the Tamil people want,etc.
5) create alliances with non-imperialist countries like Venezuela, Cuba and global south nations and end slavish subersevience to US/UK/EU
6) draft a new constitution after 'people to people' talks that enshrines the rights of Tamils including homeland, language, etc. and enact it through referendum
for starters
Your 6 points do indeed make very interesting reading :o) .. however personally .. I think the current CFA in your country is slightly biased towards the LTTE .. certain clauses like the ability for the government and other minority organisations to conduct political work in rebel territory has to be included, extra-judicial assassinations undertaken by both parties have to stop, the militarization of strategic geographical locations by the LTTE have to be prevented .. however the last point has to go hand in hand with the Sri Lankan military vacating all public buildings and considerably downsizing the HSZ within the North East. In truth this can only be undertaken if there is genuine trust between the two warring parties and an honest admission that neither side will monopolise the agreement to gain a tactical advantage. The quest for peace has to be genuine.

If life was as simple as that .. the threats to US national security do not always originate as a result of US foreign policy .. .. however can I just add that the unity and camaraderie present between yourself and Mr.Tamilcanuck is good to see, I guess national reconciliation in your country really begins at this level

The dream for your children is the same as mine Mr.Vimukthi .. however unfortunately for them the truth is: The US is perceived in some cases justifiably as the bully of today, but if its not us today it will just be someone else tomorrow .. and that is the undeniable truth, as I meant to summarise earlier .. the corruptibility and the quest for greed is just too strong in most of us.
