Madprofessor,
Yes, I agree with you. A good tamil leader being a leader of sri-lanka is not as far fetched an idea as people think. Except for people like tigress19 and co. who thinks in a very racial way all the time, much to their detriment, such a possbility is very much possible in the future when there is peace. Berty,
Did you hear Vini suggesting the land captured should be given to the families of the SL forces..some politician might jump on that idea..
I am not referring to private land... there's huge areas of GOSL land... I am sure we can make use of that land in this case to show appreciate the sacrifices of these 'poor' soldiers..
No No Berty... they are not poor... in my view, they are the richest... they COULD AFFORD TO PAY THE HIGHEST PRICE! |

Berty,
I think of course LTTE should down their guns and take part in peace talks as a matter of urgency! (as if they will!) but LTTE is not the only representative of tamils, so this is why I am saying that everyone in sri-lanka should be involved. |

Tigress19,
I really think you should start thinking in a different way, like peace and reconciliation between especially the sinhalese and tamils and for peace and development for all the people in the island of sri-lanka. This is the best way. |

Vini Malli
I have no problem in any sort of settlement as long as we have Peace in SL for the sake of innocent Civilians on both sides!!U mark my word..there is going to be a huge civilians attack by LTTE! somewhere!! This is my gut feeling!!
They know Tamils in the north and east have suffered in the hands of SL forces during the last month and Thamilselvan has warned too..
I hope there will be talks!
Forest!!--There is no way you can have that condition for talks..Laying the arms down will not work..Better to start talking unconditionally as it seems to be the only way!!
It was funny i read an earlier thread in which they are asking a letter from Prabaharan and The GoSL say they will talk unconditionally..I thought a letter itself is a condition..May be i am wrong!! |
