OK,let me say about ltte,
ltte is weak and loosing?
if that how you see, I'm fine with it, but i would like to add one point, before the govt come to any conclusion about ltte, it should cancel the CFA as it is blocking the ltte's maneuvers greatly. |

Within last 25 years, Tamils in north lived not mixed with Sinhalese. That is sad. But, in south, we lived with Tamils. So, we trust Tamils than some young Tamils trust Sinhalese.
How many elder and qualified leaders you have in LTTE. I think nearly 95% are below 50. That is one barrier for this trust.
For your question, still my answer is same, Sinhala or Tamil, or Muslim, the right person will rule the country. The problem is how to select the right person.
Trust me, war is not the way to select him.
In this era.
I know, its hard to give-up hopes for a separate country. But, I think time will take LTTE to that direction.

I request all law-makers in the country to allocate government land from the North and the East to the families of the soldiers who paid the supreme price.

I got your point about the power of LTTE.
I think people dont underestimate LTTE, just since they lost some 1000 less-trained fighters. But, this time its going to be a very hard work for LTTE.
I wish, peace is the best solution for LTTE to have a decent win (or solution), as what Japan got in 1945.

you prefer ltte to change while the govt do nothing to promote lankaness throughout the island.
what the govt should do is,
develop north and east, employ tamils in govt sector,armed forces, police forces ,give due respect to the language, limit the armies upto the barrack and remove HSZs in the north and east.
implement the CFA.
TO DO THAT, YOUR GOVT NEED AND OTHER THIRD FORCE LIKE THE UN FORCES IN THE NORTH AND EAST.
the govt cannot do it on its own. |
