I cant understand what the use of all these camo uniforms, when they have this bright blue MADAKALAPU SARONGS(easy to see)! Is there any special use of them? I wonder! |

I respect Tamils. Please dont mix-up this war and wrong doings of few people to insult Sinhalese. In 1983, my family protected our Tamil Diver for 2 weeks, hiding inside, and many Sinhalese did so.(yes, I dont agree with what we had in that sad year). |

Can't you see the attitude of Sinhala forumists here?
I prefer peace but can't stand with everyday atrocity against tamils in JAFFNA. It's even worse than holacaust.
Raves oh yes I know it all too well, after we have learnt over the years how the various governments have lied and cheated their way out of previous talks.
That is why I say it all depends on the IC, they are saying good words like the GoSL must abide by the CFA and ensure human rights. Now if they are actually going to put some teeth behind their words then there is a chance for real peace this time, there will be no opportunity for the government to sign papers and throw them out and cheat the Tamils once again like with P-TOMS.
If the IC does not ensure the government meets its commitments then I see only war in November.
Anyway I am off, cu guys, Chandana, Raves, have a good one guys. |

well wat ever happens if VP continues war it only going to destroy generations os the tamil society in the north..
and all those brothers and sisters wd never get to enjoy wat we do...and there life wd get stuck among guns...
and tat life is like live today die tom...wats da use....
Yes that is what I was telling Raves, even in victory we will still lose many of our boys and girls, so if VP has decided to try the talks path at this time, it is a good decision if we can get a solution peacefuly.

More wishful thinking, the LTTE don't need mrec's to beat the SLA, lol.
For sure they will need someone to teach them how to fire those SAM's (if they get any) straight...

This is exactly the problem; most Tamils unfortunately blame the entire Sinhala race for 1983 and previous such incidents. We all know (most of us anyway) these were done by a minority of uneducated goons who unfortunately have gone unpunished for their crimes. |
