The person who lost most from the change of Govt in April 2004 was Dhanapala.
If the country was peaceful and if the ethnic issue had been settled Dhanapala could have got some good marks in the international arena.
I do not think anybody will bother with him anymore.
Now what Mr. Dhanapala can do is to resign and support the candidacy of Dr. Shashi Tharoor of India. Then at least we can have a Sec Gen from South Asia.
Otherwise this post will obviously go to South Korea, who is now pouring money to UN as aids. |

Good analogy, East Timor was illegally occupied by Indonesia, just as the Tamil homeland has been occupied by the Sinhala terror state. Good to see you are consistently wrong at least.
As for this candidate, good riddance, the GoSL does so much even without such a position one can only imagine what horrors await the Tamils if this terrorist rep had won. |

This is my last piece of work on this.
Terrorism is terrorism whether one becomes a hero or not. SWRD was killed.It was a murder and was killed in cold blood. Giving lame excuses won't help.
If you want to know the serial killingsn you only have to loo back the years the racial riots instigated by singhalese from 1956 todate. Singhala governments staged this riots every 2 to 3 years like some cricket tournaments.
Better quality of life! - Living in fear. You call it quality of life. As I stated earlier, these riots and murders are taking place well before Pirabha's entry.
Now the singhalese have other profitable businesses such as abductions,thieving etc.than running these bakeries. You may be right. No hostilities shown towards singhalese and not a singhalese was killed in tamil areas due to rights in the south.
Tamils hoarded money and gold - Utter garbage. Doesn't warrant an answer
Number of tamils killed. I don't have the statistics.You will have to ask your own govt. I doubt they provide you any figure. They might even say there wasn't any riots. But according to various sources the number of people killed in 1983 riots alone comes to 3000. But other estimates put this as more than 8,000 tamil. And there were other riots as well.And think about the property worth of millions that were burned out and the misery caused.
Many singhalese like you live in cuckoo land,not realising how important to live in equality and in harmony in order to have a peaceful life for all the people in sri lanka. You will have to change your superiority mentality and stop imposing that on tamils. Otherwise we will try everything in our power to change all that. |

Why Danapala Failed?
1, he is not fully backed by all srilankan.
( Tamils would have backed him fully , if he had taken the CFA a bit further, or try to implement CFA, or requested a personal meeting with Our leader and have one to one talks, at least it will show that this man understand our struggle , he have not done any of it) if he was elecetd he will push further to suppress tamils. and srilanka would get away with all crimes.
therefore its good that he is not sellected.
2, he was old, nearing 60,
3, His track record is no good, just like he was appointed as head of government peace secretiat. did he do anything tangable?? no. |

Stop crying about SWRD. SWRD assassination and Prabhakaran's terrorism are two different things which any moron can understand except you.
Stop exaggerating facts too.

This is what called mendacious propaganda. Again Tamil propaganda machinary is out dated . It does not work any more but good for Tamils to live stupid.
