Video Segment 8522 - Wimal Weerawansa criticizing

JVP dictates conditions for talks

The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) strongly criticised the statement issued by Sri Lanka`s donor Co-Chairs after a meeting held in Brussels on Tuesday.

Speaking to the media, JVP propaganda secretary Wimal Weerawansa pointed out that LTTE political wing leader SP Thamilselvan did not say that LTTE is ready for unconditional talks.

?Demand made by Thamilselvam that government must stop its attacks before the talks itself is a pre-condition? Weerawansa claimed.

?Government should go to talks with LTTE, only after the LTTE lay down the arms? said Weerawansa

The JVP was very critical of the role played by the Norwegian facilitators.

?Its Solheim who says that LTTE is ready for talks without any conditions? JVP argues.

JVP believes that LTTE is weakening at this moment therefore government should react with caution to international pressure.

We request the government that talks should resume only on the grounds that LTTE is going to renounce the violence, the JVP propaganda secretary said.

Ha! Ha ! Ha!

I thought this was a news site, but anyway, a bit of humour once in a while, does no harm.

As they say laughter is the best medicine.

When anyone is too bored with politics one can take a look at this clip to relieve themselves.

Who do we have next? Mr. Bean or Tennyson Cooray?

The funny thing is, JVP banners ALWAYS have Tamil in them, even all their meetings have that language. BUT the last SLFP conference had no such thing.

What he says is correct, LTTE is getting hammered and weak at the moment and GOSL will be under tremendous pressure from Outside, neighbours as well as International to stop or 'Go Slow'. This happened earlier too during that GREAT National Security Minister Athulathmudali's time...we were almost winning the Battle and Re-capturing what was lost when the Government Forces had to return to Barracks because of pressure from neighbours & Outside on the then President JR, if Lalith Athulathmudali was allowed to continue to hit targets as the forces did, the war would have been nipped in the bud.The GOSL has to be cautious...The president will be in USA in the next two to three days, and we hope he meets all influntial people to get the much needed support.

I do not like JVP political agenda nor a supporter of JVP. However what Wimal Weerawansa pointed out is a genuine fact .

The Tamil Jokers in this forum should pay attention to the point what he was saying , than play the act of dumb clowns. They should understand that Eric Solheim telling the world that both parties GOSL and LTTE agreed to resume talks unconditionally was his own way of misleading the world.

The God father of LTTE Eric Solheim will have a hard time finding a place to hide . Prabhakaran may invite him to his rat hole.

GOSL begged for Norway's facilitation. Isn't it correct?.
Hence, Norway's role is to bring both parties to a meeting either by hook or by crook.

Mr.Weerawansa thinks all are jokers like him.

I am sure Tamilcanuk will not be very happy with the cameraman.

For most of the times the camera focuses on this ugly face while there are three good looking gals sitting in the front row itself.

The agony of listening to WeeraMonkey (TM) is enough. Do we also have to go through the agony of seeing his ugly face all the time?

Why wouldn't the cameraman instead focused his lens to those three good looking gals?

Pity. These cameramen have so much to learn.
