Dear Shakti,
I express my deepest regrets. In my own defense, I must remind you that I was enjoying our little escapade on the computer table until the table broke and we fell four feet to the floor landing on top of her when I accidentally hit and an extra 'I' for Vimukth. In spite of the rupture incurred when I landed on top of her it was biggest thrill I ever had.
Vimukthi, Please accept apology. Shakthi duly pointed out that I used your name in my last post instead of Vimukth. I was not that good in name observation while in school. But, I was good on Table Tops.

FYI its not Norway alone, your pathetic government was just 'told' by the entire IC the US, Japan, and the EU.
They basically told them to stop their illegal agression and get to talks or you get no more money, savvy?
Oh and get this you see when the EU 'told' the LTTE what to do, the LTTE 'told' them where to go, but look at your pathetic beggar government, when they are told they say yes master and lick the white man's boots LOL.

first of all I must tell you that for my 32years I never voted any politician nor the governing party, so it is not my government, and but I call my self as a citizen of Sri Lanka, so what GOSL does is not going to reflect on me, and as far as I know, Donkeys & monkeys of LDTE & their henchman (so call Tamil Diaspora) are liking white asses for a long time since they left the Sri Lanka and acquire their foreign passports, in fact T-chelvan is a sisi who like to give up his dignity for some thing!! I'm just curious what he is going lick for his survival? just have a closer look mate, who is going to Vanni all the time? earlier Australians ,then Englishmen,now the Norwegians! I don't know what attracts them to go to Vanni all the time, but i have a wild guess?............which i don't wanna expose!lol,

this seems to be the latest trend and its Infectious.
so if you dont support either party and you say actions of GOSL dosesnt bother you why bother even commenting on the ethnic issue. |

Some of the Tamils in this forum are happily submitting themselves to another good ride by UNP goons. If you wish, please do so, but don't blame the Sinhala Buddhists if you are cheated again as happened in 1983.
JVP AS A POLITICAL PARTY IS NOT RACIST (I am not speaking about the view of some friend of a cousin of a former JVP member who might have served in Medawachchiya Pradeshiya Sabha. But as a party they are not racist by their policies and by their conduct).
We cannot go anywhere without getting the facts right. Therefore, please read the rest, if you are ready to analyse things based on facts, not by your intuition.
JVP, as a party DID kill UNPers (including many innocents) during the insurgency in late 80s. However JVP as a party, DID NOT kill or looted Tamils during 1983 riots.
JR Jayawardena wanted to get rid of certain political figures from SL Politics and he ORCHESTRATED and UNLEASHED 1983 riots to get his political interests fulfilled. JVP was labelled as Racist as a result, by these peace loving UNPers. It should also be noted that few well known Eelamists like Vasudewa Nanayakkara and Dr. Wickramabahu Karunarathne were also alleged as Sinhala Racist along with JVP in 1983 by the very UNPers.
Anyone who genuinely believe (not those UNPers) that JVP is racist, should better be aware that once JVP was criticized by these very UNPers for the complete opposite reasons. They have some how traced a relationship between Upathissa Gamanayake (2IC of JVP during the insurgency) and a Tamil militant by the name Manikkadasan, and based on that spread the myth amongst Sinhala masses that JVP is in hand-in-hand with Tamil Eelmists in a major coup to destroy Sinhala Buddhists. Pera E-Fac undergraduate by the name Ranjitham Gunarathnam (a Tamil) held one of the senior positions of JVP at the time and these peace loving UNPers cleverly laced that to support their claim.
There are several detailed accounts by some Tamil Students of Pera University how they were recued by JVPers from being looted by peace loving UNP mobs. These can be found on several websites, including that of UTHR(J).
Note1: The above explanation should never mean that JHU is Racist. JHU as a party has neither killed any Tamil (and to that matter anyone) nor racist. If anyone has any issues with the JHU policy that Sri Lanka should be made to a Buddhist Dharma Rajyaya, I cannot help there. The fact is that both JHU nd JVP are labelled Racist by UNP Media empire to keep moderate Tamils as further away as possible from those parties.
Note2: If anyone believes that JVP is racist because of their opposition to Federalism or because of their denial to accept a 3000 years old Tamil History (where neither cannot be factually justified), by all means, continue your belief.

JVP-1 (from 1965-1971 under Wijeweera, Sanath Boraluketiya, Loku Athula and Kumanayake) Strongly Marxist, Strongly Proletarian, Strongly Stalinist, NOT RACIST, Believed fully in armed struggle
JVP-2 (from 1978-1983 under Wijeweera, Gamanayake and Lionel Bopage) Strongly Marxist, Proletarian, Moving away from Stalinism towards Trotsky a bit and definitely NOT RACIST, Tried to use democratic means to come into power but that was prevented by JRJ, who stopped all their moves (sometimes in a very stupid manner.)
JVP-2 dash (from 1983-1989) Terrorist, nihilist, Strongly Proletarian, strongly anti-Indian and strongly racist
JVP-3 ? (from 1994 onwards) Everybody know about this lot so I do not have to mince words.

UNP-2 (Under JRJ) - 100% capitalistic, market friendly, US friendly, anti-Indian, non nationalistic but partially racist
UNP-3 (Under Premadasa) - 50% capitalistic and 50% Proletarian, market friendly, anti-Indian, NOT racist
UNP-4 (Under Wijetunge for a short period) - Largely same as UNP-1 but 100% RACIST (Wijetunge was much bigger racist than any political leaders we had. This gave the opportunity for Chandrika to emerge as the non-racist anti-war candidate in the 1994 election and to win my vote.)
UNP-5 (Under RW) - Again no comments.

As for SLFP, it has always acted as the binary opposite of UNP. Naturally, it was the best strategy to win votes as the alternative to UNP. When UNP became more open towards the world, SLFP has moved towards Sinhalese chauvinism. When UNP became racist (under Wijetunge) SLFP with left parties have become non-racist anti-war proponent. |

If JVP are jokers today making every body laugh then the World community had slapped the Tamil Diaspora left and right by banning LTTE as a terrorist organization as well as honouring Mr. Anandasangaree the veteran Tamil politician who is anti LTTE.

At the time when IC, country by country banned the LTTE, the Tamil Diaspora felt that a sizeable pressure would be applied on GOSL too. It did not happen soon. However the IC always knew they could bring GOSL to their knees by strangling them economically/financially.
Tamil Diaspora has won the day by getting the IC to spell in absolute terms what the GOSL was facing if they continue to run away from producing concrete proposals to representatives of the Tamils, invariably the LTTE.
IC did not ask/instruct GOSL to sit with Mr. Anandasangaree the so called Peace Award winner and a veteran Tamil politician. Anybody these days can win a Peace Award, if they speak against violence.
This Peace Award winner was one of those instrumental in creating havoc in the country using innocent Tamil youth like the JVP.
IF NOT FOR THE TAMIL REBELS/LTTE, THE TAMILS WOULD BE SUPPRESSED AT LARGE.
I am glad that the LTTE has been EFFECTIVE in bringing GOSL to a RESPONSIVE MENTALITY. Tamil politicians like Mr.Anandasangaree's assertion in the parliament FELL ON DEAF EARS, for years and years.
LTTE HAS PROVED THEY ARE AN EFFECTIVE TAMIL FORCE.
Tamils salute them. Today's Terrorists are tomorrow's FAVOURITES. JVP IS A GOOD EXAMPLE.
