When terrrist cannot cope up, they want talks till logistic support for the nerxt phace.
Terrorists should go into camps. Then government can develope the area.
SriLankans should live in one country.
If terrorists protest, then they should be eradicated. |

This shows that Sinhalese are from Jupitor and Tamils are from Venus. Tamil was made an Official Language in Northeast only but still remained unimplemented. There are no translations of official forms in 3 languages as you claim. All are in Sinhalese, to get English and Tamil rent forms one has to go to many offices in Colombo but none got any in Tamil and only one office got forms in English. Even the marriage registration can only be done in Sinhalese because Sinhalese Registrars themselves say so when Tamils from abroad go to Colombo to have their registration and weddings done in Sri Lanka. People like you are in the West, imagine roses and the sun and think SL is like any other civilised country.
Colonisation.
In a civilised country no matter where a race is settled by the govt but in Sri Lanka there is a sinister motive. This became an issue when Sinhalese population in the East was raised from 6% to 32%. There are free habitable lands in the Wet zones but DS Senanayake wanted to push Tamils and Muslims into the sea so he chose Northeast in 1936 when he was the Minister of Agriculture for state sponsored colonisation and aggressively continued after he became PM in 1948. There were ethnic cleansing in places like Manal Aru (=Sand River) where Tamils were chased away and settled Sinhalese and renamed Weli Oya.
Tamils were fools to realise these master plans late. Tamils were happy with Cabinet posts while DS carried out carefully planned colonisation and later disenfranchise of 1,000,000 upcountry Tamils by one stoke.

What talks with terrorists?
Beware this is a plan by LTTE just to gain time to buy SAM missiles. How many times have LTTE taken Sri Lanka government for rides. Everybody knows Prabhakaran is polishing his boots for the next war. What alternative does Prabhakaran have? He has to hide in Wanni all his life time. He is wanted by Interpol. |

This is the situation for LTTE now so what talks:
The LTTE cannot escape its share of the blame for the difficult situation in which it and the Sri Lankan Tamil population find themselves. It committed a serious error of judgement in undermining the chances of victory of Mr. Ranil Wickremasinghe of the United National Party (UNP) in the Presidential elections of last year by asking the Tamils not to vote. Mr.Ranil Wickremasinghe.
Prabhakaran, the LTTE leader, was not able to recover from the loss of face suffered by him due to the desertion of Karuna and his followers. Instead of drawing the right lessons on the alienation of the Eastern Tamils, which triggered off their desertions.
The Sri Lankan military of 2006 is different from the pre-2002 military. It is more self-confident than it was in the past. It is better trained, better equipped and better motivated than it was in the past. New aircraft from Israel, new and powerful artillery from Pakistan and better training in tactics and strategy have given this self-confidence. The Sri Lankan Army no longer fears the LTTE as it used to do in the past. Its Navy has till now been giving a better account of itself than in the past. Its Air Force has unchallenged command of the skies.
It is the Sri Lankan Air Force and the badly-felt absence of Karuna, which have denied the LTTE the kind of spectacular victories that it used to register in the pre-2002 conventional battles. |
