Well, LTTE control child soldiers etc. but do they realy control Jaffna and Trinco. OR even Batti for that matter.
Re. their forces we have recent experience to suggest how mythical they are. I really mean mythical. Remember, as aircraft flying over Palali base and bombing. What happened to that mythical aircraft? It is no more. OR did fly to India.
Schools, hospitals etc now screaming without funds. Now they need 'humanitarian' assistance from GOSL. |

They are the supporters of Sinhala govt and JHU wanted to nominate Ananthasangaree as their nationalist MP after he was badly rejected by Tamil voters. Be realistic, Tamils do not advise Sinhalese to elect or choose leaders they like. So stop telling Tamils whom they should elect or follow. Tamils are fed up by following people like Ananthasangaree who valued their Cabinet posts more than anything and failed to find a solution during the 30 years from 1956-1983.
A solution must be relevent to the problem and acceptable to the vast majority of the minorities who are affected by this ethnic problem. We had PCs that solved nothing except adding a layer to the beurocracy.
An Indian quasi-federal model was ideal during 50tees and 60tees but not now. It will be blocked by the Centre and even dismissed as happened in India where certain State Assemblies were dismissed and Delhi imposed its own rule. What is the point of letting the people elect a federal govt and get it dissolved by the Central Govt dominated by Sinhalas? Edited By - nirupam - 13 Sep 2006 10:32:07 GMT |

Kfir:
Sinhala army forgot what happened in Elephant Pass... slowly and slowly they are falling to the LTTE trap... this could lead to the end of Sinhala occupation in Jaffna... wait till LTTE pull out the anti-aircraft

Nirupam,
LTTE should be millitarily defeated to achive any peace...
That is the bottom line...
With velu and murder gang at the helm, no country including india wants to interfere in the LTTE mess..That is why everyone is silent except Norway when it comes to defeat LTTE millitarily. No one wants velu to dominate anything except his rat infested bunkers deep inside vanni.. Go dig them... |

my point is supporters of MR, JVP and JHU who hail A. Sangaree, devanda and karuna when they talk or fight against LTTE are not willing to agree with their political demands. |

Anyone in for good music!!
great lyric....
This world we live in
It holds much beauty
It's just the people who exist in it
That could end it one day
Thoughts of today's profits
Money spent to buy death's way
Lives begin to fray
All our lives are on the line
If we really want a better world
We could make it better today
That's if we stopped killing each other
And looked for another way
We'd have to forget about power
And look for a better way
We're all in danger
Of losing so much
Why can't we stop this madness
Before long we'll be too far out of touch

Strategist,
Well said bro. These guys have been brainwashed for more than two decades and they have a hard time seeing out side the LTTE box.
Has this VP guy contested and won any election? say, a local govt: municipal, Provincial, or a general for that matter.
He got a bunch of gun trotting thugs to terrorize the decent, educated Tamils and he got away with it. The time has come to VP meet his maker.
What talks? May be that Bollagama guys want to make another trip abroad. If they want to talk, hold it in Colombo. No more foreign trips and Caviar and Champagne for these ministers and advisors and their girl friends. |
