this wont end in days, weeks,or months or year...
Exactly,thats why all want PEACE.
To achieve peace both parties have to talk, no pre conditions (if you have then there wont be talks)
viable solution put forward by the Govt. |

You and I want peace. And I am sure the vast majority of tamils and sinhalese want peace. I am positive those who are actually doing the fighting (the humble foot soldiers from both sides) want peace.
However the mad dog VP does not want peace. Nor does Tamilchelvam, Balasingham et al. While they are alive and the LTTE remain in their present form, there can never be peace.
To achieve peace both parties have to talk, no pre conditions (if you have then there wont be talks)
Then there won't be talks, till the government achieve the objective of wiping out the LTTE or weakening them till they are willing to talk under pre-conditions, with no claims to be be the sole representatives of the tamil people. Edited By - JaceDMace - 13 Sep 2006 06:45:19 GMT |

I have personally suffered enough.
Yes most people suffer due to war....on both sides of the equation!!!
On the other hand....thats a completely different thing.....you don't have to have a WAR to suffer personally. :(

the people yapping for war o'r here...They really don't know the consequences of war!
I can't speak for others. I very much know of the consequences of war. But I also know of the consequences of unlimited appeasement and I recognise our enemy well, even though there are others who chose to bury their heads in the sand - and his name is Prabakaran. |
