No they were killed by the terrorist GoSL, he was talking about 40 Pakistani sponsored 'jihadi' sent into the area to stir up trouble, they got the trouble they were looking for via a swift LTTE operation =)

Crucial mistake by vp. should have allowed the tamils to vote for rw. sampoor would still be theirs. good lesson for next time if there is a next time.
