There are over 200,000 civilians who have been driven out of their homes by this war, over a thousand killed, a while population of Tamil people displaced from their homes, this is clearly a huige tragedy for the Srilankan people. |

Revy - well done mate. My congrats on your 1000th post.
Fair enough mate. Can I respectfully advise you to read about these people, especially Thiranagama and Tiruchelvam. Amazing individuals who should have been allowed to contribute more towards the country.
All of them were very brave people who spoke the truth and did not deserve to die. Maybe their politics were different, but that was no good reason for their fates.
Rajan Hoole continues his brave work on www.uthr.org being critical of both sides in an impartial fashion. Extraordinary chap. Rathnajeev Hoole his brother was the best VC of Jaffna University they never had.

'Freezing' does not mean 'taking' - diverting to another account, another purpose !
What it means is that, until TRO can clear the 'bad name' it has earned, they cannot withdraw moneys from that account.
Another good reason for the LTTE to come to 'table' sit and discuss with GOSL - as for a power-devolution arrangement. (TRO will have all its money released, at the proper time). |

Yes you are talking about the civil defense trainings, that everyone knows off nothing new there, the GoSL does the same for Sinhala border villages, in fact the GoSL even gives them arms. So what's your point about that.
What the SLMM and UNICEF found was that this was not even one of those civil defense course, but courses for students from the area, but of course you being Yoda are much smarter and probably saw through their 'evil' too. LOLz
Given how the GoSL intends to decimate the Tamil people, I think everyone should be learning useful skills like first aid.
BTW, with the resort to name calling you are not following through with a good Yoda impression, you were off to a good start seeing 'evil' in me and all that, that was funny, now you're just getting predictable, boooooring!
