This is a moot point....VP is a wanted killer by the Interpol and Indian police for the muder of the former head of state of India, Rajiv G.
First he made those statements long before Rajiv, second then you agree with me that there is no chance for him to be the leader of Eelam even if he wants to be, so again my point that they are only there to give the Tamils a chance to determin their future for themselves is validated. |

Raves,
All these groups TELO, PLOTE, EPRLF (EPDP) were not fighting for the Tamil cause, some were completely infilitrated by Indian RAW and others were just being gangsters in general:
The PLOTE and TELO were involved in kidnapping well-to-do Tamils for ransom and the EPRLF exhorted money by adopting threats and intimidation. They collected several millions of dollars as ransom. Manickathasan, who was the No 1 military man for PLOTE in Vavuniya until 2000, was in charge of the kidnappings.

Read the rest of the article for the history of those days and decide for yourself who was right. Its veyr easy for our Sinhala friends to just go on about LTTE silenced other voices, but they don't even know what happened.
As for the 13 on Kayts I am talking about the 13 civilians incluidng a 4 year old and his 4 month old brother, killed in their sleep on Kayts by EPDP and SLN personnel. |

Three escapees have now confessed to the security forces that Sencholai was a LTTE military training camp, in a dramatic turn of events over the controversy on the so called LTTE orphanage at Sencholai.
Sripathi Kasthuri (18) and two of her friends now in security forces custody after they were wounded following the air strikes on this camp on August 14 had told the police that they were trained in the use of AK 47 rifles and military tactics in that camp.
Contrary to these views, the SLMM and UNICEF earlier claimed that the Air Force bombed a school in Sencholai where 61 students were reportedly killed and another 152 wounded. Confirming it was the location, they were trained, the 18 year old girl accompanied by her mother Ms Sripathi Kumudu told the media that the LTTE forcibly took them to this camp on August 10.
'In the first week of the August, Mayuran of the LTTE and Ivan of the Mullaitivu Education office came to our school and instructed us to participated in a training program at their Sencholai camp,' Kasturi said.
'They also threatened us saying that if we did not turn up it would be the end of our school career,' she added.
Three girls, Kasturi, Thambimuttu Dayalini (20), Balasingham Sunethra (19) who were wounded in the air strikes were brought to the Vavuniya Hospital by the ICRC. They were later transferred to the Kandy Hospital. They had been given military training in the Sencholai camp by the LTTE female cadre named Venthila akka.
'She also taught us first aid and on how to evade security forces during an encounter,' she added.
Kasturi said two LTTE members working in the Mullaitivu Educational Divisional Office named Arul Master and Mayuran, Venthila Akka and Kalai Aral Akka were the course supervisors. She said they were in their fourth day of training when the Air Force fighter jets bombed the camp in the morning of August 14.
Following air strikes, Kasturi was rushed to the Kilinochchi Hospital, from where she was transferred to the Vavuniya Hospital. |

Hey Sinhala keyboard warriors better go tell Ponseca to call Karuna from his Thailand child intimacy villa, he might need his help it seems:
Military officials said Sunday that a ground offensive to capture a rebel artillery position at Sampur 10 kilometres (six miles) away that targetted the port complex had been called off because of stiff rebel resistance.

Of course, all these legal funds of TRO will be cerainly used to feed the sinhala bouddhist monks who are starving for daily bread due to this war.
It its the duty of Tamil Nadu politicians to press Indian gouvernment for a rapid intervent by sending Indian forces and warships to intimidate the sinhala racists forces to leave immediately from the north.
Now Indian gouvernment has no more rights to say no any intervention to stop this sinhala agression on Tamils . Now India should , send some warships and Indian airforce to rescue tamils civilians well trapped in the north. Or tamil Nadu gouvernment should send some young people to hedlp tamils in sri Lanka.
I wish to appeal to our Tamils brothers and sisters living all over the world that we have to help our people in Sri lanka. your Indian gouvernment should now stir up for an immeiate intervention without any prior notice. |

Revy,
The article you quoted from Asia Times was written by one K T Rajasingham who is now, I believe, the editor of the Asian Tribune.
This man is virulently anti-LTTE judging by the stories that appear in the Asian Tribune. Therefore, his version of history of the tamil struggle is likely to be biased against the LTTE. Edited By - tarquin - 3 Sep 2006 17:49:52 GMT |
