The main one is that they are basically a better harmless society than us.
What???
Maybe be the individual Sinhala people, but certainly not the government 'system', forget Tamils, they can't even give their own people proper justice, like that poor balloon seller who got beaten to death over 5 days. |

Agreed in Thoery..if you visit colombo and you talk to anyone (sinhalese,Tamil & Muslims) they all want Peace!!..This is all Politics and corruption. They need this war and that is the only way they get their wealth..

In fact this is the high time for Central Bank to disclose to the country, especially to the Tamil people in the NE, how much money has been channelled throught the central bank for TRO until it's freezing . The opposition should demand a debate in the parliament on this issue. The annual report of the Central bank does not reflect these monies as these are mere transactions. Then Tamil people could easily come to a conclusion whether they got the real benefits for the money.
According to the investigations by FBI, the TRO collects $100,000 per dium from tamil diaspora. Simple calculation will find that the balance has been utilised for Arms, education of Prabha's and Tamil Chelvam's children etc, etc..... |

I live in Switzerland and the Swiss TV in one of their most popular TV channels (10 vor 10) highlighted how the Tamil diaspora is been threatened by the LTTE. It was sickening to hear the LTTE spokesman agreeing that all Tamils MUST contribute even when they have hardships. He went on to say that they should get bank loans and contribute to develop their so called homeland EALAM. Shame on these f...ers!! |

| AbiSing I somewhat understand where your sentiments come from but you must understand the Sinhala nation will utilize you to hurt the tamil nation. Refrain from being a tool in that manner. Tamils as a people are extremely factionalist and hence many of the current dilemnas. If they were more united TE would have been completely achieved quite a while ago. Thats one thing I dont like about the forum is the Sinhalese will jump to you the moment a Tamil says something anti-ltte. I don't actually care abt anti-ltte tamils. As long as they are pro-tamil I'm happy. |
