My opinion on MR is that if he were not elected president, he would in all probability be facing a judicial inquiry. Whether or not he was guilty of fraud is open to speculation, but his unwillingness to open the matter to public scrutiny and lack of transparency is hardly an indication of innocence.
He should have faced JUSTICE!! he stole public funds and there is no jurisdiction in SL cos he is the man at the TOP!!
Once your used to stealing , you will steal again. Must be his idea to pocket the TRO millions..
JohnA, tell me if the man at the top is suspected for any irregularities in UK or US..what is the normal procedure? This is Sri Lanka for u
what can you expect from the Government appointed investigation teams on 17 aid workers, 61 kids killed, Fonseka's attempted Murder, Parami's killing & Pakistan Ambas attempted assassination? I suppose you know who was behind that attack? it was not LTTE (according to Pakistan)

'Sencholei' was a military training camp!? ? two children injured in the attack

It has been confirmed again that ?Sencholei? camp at Vavuniya was a military training camp of the tiger terrorists. Two girls who were injured when S.L. Air Force attacked have confirmed this.
The two girls are being treated in Kandy hospital at the moment. They have been admitted to hospital by the Red Cross. One of the girls revealed that she was abducted while studying for the A/L examination.
A large number of children were receiving training in weapon usage at ?Sencholei? camp. The children were given a 15 days training in the use of arms which included the use of T-56 and AK 47 rifles and rocket launchers. The tigers had told them that a card would be given for them to continue their studies after the military training.
She explained that they couldn't go to any tuition class in un-cleared areas without that card. She said a large number of girls had been abducted and brought to the camp for military training. They had not been given any opportunity to go back to their homes.
When the attack took place more than 500 people had been in the camp. A large number of people were killed and another large number were injured she revealed. The children had revealed about many other camps where children are being given military training.

You are merely repeating 'garbage' thrown out by the UNP.
If the facts are as clear as you state, the Supreme Court would not have given a ruling in his favour (at the time of the presidential elections).
There have been many clarifications re- this matter .. if you do not accept them .. hard luck; reserve your comments until he vacates presidential office - then you can sue him for mis-appropriation.

Hey Lalith, Having a good time !! yeah..That was an article in Sunday Observer! we will get these type of information! Do you really think if it was a training camp and these girls are actually training the LTTE would have allowed these injured gyals to be taken to Vavuniya..
These must be innocent gyals from somewhere else..
Lalith even the sinhalese Friends of mine in Colombo knows this is local propaganda!!
