SenaM

I don't have a Days of the Raj mentality at all and I am surprised if you think that.

My opinion on MR is that if he were not elected president, he would in all probability be facing a judicial enquiry. Whether or not he was guilty of fraud is open to speculation, but his unwillingness to open the matter to public scrutiny and lack of transparency is hardly an indication of innocence.

Politically, I would have liked to have seen Karu replace Wickramasinghe as leader of the UNP and elected president. Now you know exactly where I stand.

JohnA,
That was an article from Tamilnet but may be it is there in other newspapers as well other than the local govt media!!
U can also read abduction of different Tamil media gents in Colombo and then they are released!!
U think this type of abduction with the approval of the Govt can ever take place in U.K. These are only in SL

JohnA--If you meet any Tamils in U.K and if you ask them do you support LTTE, please tell me what do you expect as an answer!! do you expect them to say YES! I support LTTE and i do contribute!! I am sure your intelligent enough to know the answer!

Berty, just a helping hand to you. That article can only appear in a second rated mouthpiece like the one you mentioned. It needs lot of work before any serious newspaper takes it into consideration. Do you think anybody reads such terse, long copied pieces? You can just quote a few lines from it and put it across with the weblink.
