SO you agree that the TRO was just a front for the diaspora to fund the LTTE?
Then as such freezing their funds was a legitimate action?

Nice try :), whether you Sinhalese believe or not, TRO is a non profitable organization. Remember boxing day Tsunami. The Tamils didn?t get Amy help from the Sri Lankan government. The GOSL even blocked the foreign aid reaching Tamils. The TRO took care of the Tamil and MuslTsunami victims. The Eelam Tamils diaspora knows this, that?s why threhey are funding the TRO.
Not only to the Tamils, the TRO helped the Sinhala flood victims and the Catarina victims of louisiana.

If LTTE are supported by Tamils, how come LTTE keep killing Tamils? What is the % of Tamils supporting LTTE? Why the LTTE terrorists kidnap kids for force-recruitment, if able-bodied men and women are available for its cause? Why the child soldiers die in hundreds?
It does not matter who fund LTTE terrorists... tamil, sinhalaa, muslim, foreign, local... they should get the message that they are doing so at their own risk... just like anyone supporting al qaida.
I was specifically referring to Tamil Diaspora funding LTTE terrorists...

So what is your point? Douglas, Ananada sanagari are Jaffan Tamils even Kadikama was Jaffna Tamils. The are many dogs like you among Jaffna Tamils, and it doesn?t mean a thing. If you really want to do anything for SL Tamils,you can keep on licking the Sinhala feet but don?t tell us. |

Really? What was the TRO doing in Louisiana? And yes I can recall them helping the flood victims. It's a good thing that they did
I still believe that there is some link with the LTTE, but hopefully in a time of real peace in the future, they can evolve into a recognised and respected Sri Lankan institution which engages in relief work all over the world. Something to think about that. |

This is a good decision as most of these money have been collected illegally. Many countries have already frozon TRO money as they have found money is being used by TRO have collected illegally or forcibly from tamils.
Central bank must have a mechanism to find how this money is received and what purposes thay are used. If govenment can stop circulation of these types of money a lot of underworld activities can be stopped. |
