My considered view is that you are a hypocrite .. when you speak of 'concern for people's lives', you are thinking of tamil-peope, and their interests. That is OK - there are lots of people in this forum, with the same objectives .. but they do not pretend as you do .. with your 'holy motivations'.

I agree wih Jace - capture and neutralising of those big-guns is a strategic objective. You do not fight 'battles' for the amusement of Generals or Politicians (not a 'Roman Circus' type spectacle).

When the Sampoor (strictly, Samapura) fortifications were being constructed by the LTTE, then Navy Commander brought to the notice of RW and CBK of the threat posed to the Naval Establishment in Trincomalee - from this military build-up. Ranil 'hid' behind the CFA document, and did nothing; CBK indulged in a little 'blustering talk' - and stopped there. The CFA document which Ranil signed was a 'stone a-round our necks' - the country was sinking. I believe both these corrupt politicians knew it - their only concern was 'how to make some money' - yes, they were getting plenty of 'moola' from Eric Solheim.

Those who must bear responsibility to the deaths of soldiers and LTTE cadres killed in the Sampoor battle, are -Ranil, CBK, and over-lord of all these schemes, Prabha.

Good Morning SanaM. Do you remember a couple of days ago we were talking about people being able to get hold of military jets ? Well it was explained to me. Aiframes are easy, engines are difficult and armaments are impossible. The illustration of this is a chap who has a cafe near the bombing ranges at RAF Holbeach. He has a Hawker Hunter parked on his forecourt. I spoke with him and he told me he bought it for scrap, which was very cheap. The real costs came when he started to move it from the airfield.

already stretched trying to cope with diarrhoea, respiratory problems and wounds.

LTTE or GOSL are not concerned about people so long as their agenda of defeating the enemy is achieved. LTTE wants Ealam and GOSL wants to destroy LTTE and continue with the unitary state.

People are dying from deseases and fighting. LTTE ansd SLA bombard civilians and kill them and destroy their houses and livelihood.

Hello! JohnA..
Nice talking to you, again. The 'Hunter' was a good aircraft - believe it held the 'world air-speed record' for a brief period. As they say 'the engine determines how success-ful it becomes' - the 'Hunter' was powered by the
R-R AVON - a really good engine.
A british 'classic' .. like the Jaguar, and the Bentley.

It is your view!! that is fine with me...I don't have to defend myself!! yes!! in this case the killings were all Tamil kids! and obviously as a Tamil i will feel hurt..!! I condemn every single innocent lives lost due to LTTE suicide bombs (I did condemn the child who was killed near Dickmens road) or by the SLA. If you want to connect that to 'Holy motivation' so be it!! It does not bother me..

For the wild birds there are nests to take rest, for the foxes and the wild animals there caves to lie down and sleep. but for our innocent Tamil people, there is no place to sleep. They are now under the trees and in open air. Shells and air bombs are upon their head. rain and sun upon their shoulders, monsoon epidemics is also threaten them. Where is the righteousness of Lord Buddha.?

SenaM/JohnA,

The Hunter held the world speed record for a brief period in 1953.

If you are really rich you can still fly them at Thunder-city, SA....They also have some BAE Buccaneers and English Electric Lightnings :-)

Petijo - Lord Buddha passed on and attained nirvana. He is not leading the government at present and can not be located the last time I checked.

As for shelter for the tamils - May I suggest houses? They are very comfortable and a lot better than sitting under trees or in caves. They can easily be found in the south of their country Sri Lanka, or even in the North and the East after we flush out the bunker rat and exterminate him.
