Kamani nangi..they do kill innocent civilains on a daily basis..The SLA are no angels..They did not know they were Aid workers, they would have killed thinking Tamils...They shot them..

There is no advantage but there is absolutely no regrets!!

Let us wait and see..

They were ALL WEARING THE ACTION CONTRE LA FAIM T-SHIRTS.
This was a deliberate attack to stop the aid workers from working in tamil areas...This is an attempt to demoralise the tamil nation....

Remember the murdered aid workers are Tamils and muslims, not budhists.

Keep praying and keep mudering.... you will achieve nibbana.

Very damaging article on SLMM statement. I am not sure if it is a ruling or someone's opinion from what I read. I guess they have more evidence, otherwise it would be very irresponsible for statements like that. If they don't have evidence, they should be sent home immediately. One guy who spoke said that he is convinced because he didn't get access. That is not a strong enough reason to utter statements. Let's see how the cards are played. However, the damage is done already. And for the innocent people who died, nothing will do justice. If the troops did it, they must court martial them. If there is no proof, SLMM should pack bags.

Berty - I did condemn it at the very start. I still do. And if the SLA if found responsible, I will still condemn it. No excuses.

HOWEVER - until there is firm evidence I will not be making any accusations.

You can get as emotional as you wish and scream blue muder, but in the cold light of day you might feel different and know what I say is true.

2 separate issues here - First issue - condeming this murder, which everyone in this forum does, Second issue - who was responsible - you and a few others say the SLA did it. The rest say, we will not point the finger till there is proper evidence. Not the word the SLMM, which I do not find credible whatsoever.

Again I repeat Kamani's question to you - what does the SLA stand to gain by killing these aidworkers eh?

Karunadasam,

Rather than name calling like small kids... why not you and your Sinhala GOSL get rid of SLMM.. according to you they are one sided and this is a very good point to get rid of them????
Also you seemed to be very shalow when you point at Norway when it comes to SLLM.. it is been represented by the nordinc countries (Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Island) and led by a Swede as of today!!

Getting rid of the SLMM is not an issue but there is a CFA despite how low its value at the present moment. If there is no CFA then yes, why not. But soon that will be a reality and you can see that!!

Now, lets think rationally shall we, without being petty minded. Birds of feather flock together, need I say more on Nordic nations?

LTTE once tried tricking out the international community by kidnapping their very own TRO gang, which propaganda didn't work as much as they wished it to. So they went a step ahead to murder another bunch of INGO workers. Unfortunately the victims were locals and still their propaganda machinery isn't working; that news is not getting that much of an attention either. Since the guys are desperate, they might do something to a foreign INGO workers sooner than later.

Dada,

The GOSL thought the SLMM was an independent body when they agreed to accept them. But now the world knows they are not. Check this out and tell me if they are really impartial in the Sri Lankan conflict.
