Don't trust crazy Prabhakaran. This low-class fisherman has spent his entire life murdering people and he won't stop until he has created a dream world where all Sri Lankan Tamils will bow down to him.
This megalomaniac cares little for Tamils except to exploit the suffering he caused them in order to push forward his goal of building a totalitarian regime with the sole purpose of feeding his ego.
Illiterate ganster fisherman realizes that if he does not accomplish his jungleland dream he will go back to being the simple thug he was before the war. Plus, he will not be able to milk the gullible criminals of the diaspora for money to maintain his and his family's lifestyle.

but Prabha would not settle for anything but independence.
VP was willing to settle for autonomy rather that outright independence, but what hope is there for an ISGA with a government who can't even share aid with suffering people.
But as you say there is no point in anyone talking now, the GoSL should have shown it by actions, talk and even written agreements are cheap in SL, only actions matter. |
