I think treating girls nice supposed to be polite and gentle without going below the belt. You can be friendly through such a good understanding and respecting the girl for being a girl (girlie issues etc.)(I don't mean flirting here as that is different, perhaps teasing come similarly too).
On the other hand if you are married you know how to treat nice to your wife with all the goodness and accepting her with the way she is and how she does things and advise if she is going astray etc. but most importantly understanding her without criticising her for mistakes all the time. (To be honest I feel I am very grateful to my husband he understands me very well, in fact never questions about my activities, hence I am getting more and more close to him every day, I wish more girls get men like him).
