| Can I ask what is the most impartial, unbiased website that I can access for infomation on the crisis. Which newspaper has impartial news? Can you keep your biases out of the reply if possible? |

But you guys wanted their removal, didn't you when the EU ban was imposed?
Nice spin, but I think you need more lessons from Rumbuttan on how to spin like a pro (well a pro in his own mind anyway).
LTTE only asked for removal and replacement of EU members not the entire SLMM. Would you want Tamil truce monitors? Why not? |

I don't know if you can find one, since international media invariably will report what both sides say (GoSL and LTTE) and respective Tamil and Sinhala media will report their side. So you just have to read both and make you own decision.
Of course occasionally the international media will report neutral facts like this school bombing incident. |

probably nothing out there.
read tamilnet and one or more of the sinhale sites and you gotta come to your own conclusion. tamils have a bit of an advantage here since we can also call a few folks in jaffna or other places and try an get a feel for the news. |

Re. the subject of emotions... why these why LTTE goons here crying for massacred child soldiers... instead of celebrating.
Guess you must be a slow reader, those weren't child soldiers.
If you ever thought Sri Lankans are going to scared of VP, you are mistaken...
Is that why the rapist goon squad in Jaffna are holding civilians hostage as human shields? Because they are not scarred of VP and his boys?
GOSL had given ample opportunities to get into talks and finds solutions.
You mean like how they allowed Tamil IDPs to return to their homes? Or maybe you mean like how they disarmed their pet poodle Karuna? Or do you mean when the stopped their pet poodle from murdering leading Tamil politicians, journalists, and business men?
Just enjoy the show now. As our proud president has stated ... the door to talks are still open... but the subject is 'total disarmament'.
As they say talk is cheap, let's see the proud Fool in Chief disarm VP and his boys. |

LADIES AND GENTLEMAN,
Please see below.....
My dear tamil friends....tell your brothers and sisters to giveup without getting killed for no reason...
Aug 15, Colombo: Intense fighting over the past 72 hours in the Jaffna peninsula has left at least 250 LTTE cadres dead and another 300 injured, the Sri Lankan military says.
Military spokesperson Brigadier Athula Jayawardane said that at least one hundred bodies of LTTE cadres were seen lying scattered ahead of the Muhamalai Forward Defence Line (FDL) since the LTTE has not yet come to collect the remains.
?In addition, troops collected about 79 corpses of LTTE terrorists who had tried to overrun Army installations and enter Muhamalai FDL during fierce gun battles,? he said. However, he said that troops were compelled to bury the dead bodies in their LTTE uniforms as the decomposing corpses were beginning to pose an environmental hazard |

Oh what shall we do, I guess because the GoSL says so this must be true, because everything they say is true, you know like how they showed everyone the truth despite those UNICEF and SLMM liars. It can't be that all these dead 'LTTE' bodies might just be the 100+ civilians they massacred in the Jaffna area yesterday, very convinient not having any contact with the area, they can say what they want.
Don't worry yourself realman, none of us Tamils chatting here have any right to tell the LTTE what to do, they will do what is necessary to surprise your army of rapists and child killers again and again.
If the LTTE needs me to polish their boots then I am qualified for that at least but I won't be giving them any advice. |

NE parents, never send your teenagers to LTTE organized workshops - they want to turn them into suicide bombers like the one who killed Rajiv GANDHI, the Indian PM.
Members of the Black Tigers Squad are a group of elite suicide bombers...what would cause someone to become a suicide bomber?...suffering at the hands of the SL Army...rape, the loss of family members or friends, etc. the list goes on... The suicide bomber who killed Rajiv GANDHI, the former Indian PM, was raped during the IPKF period. |
