Dada555,
If the billions of rupees the international community donated to the corrupt Sri Lankan governments, were spent wisely on investments rather than bribes, war, and arms, today we would be joining the Indians in developing our economy and for a prosperous Sri Lanka, for all th citizens.
Think about it.
Don't worry about the south; if they keep electing corrupt politicians, that's their problems but our friends in the North have the opportunity to develop themselves without waiting for government handouts. This war is simply taking them backwards everyday... |

Kamani Nangi,
We all have the right to question on the validity than blindly believing it, don't you think so?
Never questioned your right!!u do believe what you hear every day on your SLBC news right? do you verify?
U want advice!! here is the advice..feel for the kids, condemn the killings..assume they are innocent cos they are kids!!and then discuss the problems you have in believing the story
I just watched local Hong Kong news..and they said the UNICEF has confirmed it was not a training camp!! |

Hi Kamini
I agree. What I experience in boardrooms and with senior executives is not much different. Ego, determination, lack of patience etc. get them going well off the track. However, I have noticed that most Chinese executives are really cool.
Loss of life in SL going to be very high. Slowly the whole thing is coming under the 'war on terror'. That means further escalation and destruction before rebuilding. Very Sad! |

how stupid can they be.... go and read for your self.. this is not Lanka-puwath, tamilnet, SLnewspapers...

Unicef horrified
Joanna van Gerten, Unicef's Sri Lankan representative, said the team was 'horrified' by the carnage.
'These were children from surrounding schools in the area who were brought there for a two-day training workshop on first aid, by whom we don't know yet,' she said.
Van Gerten said the Unicef team found more than 100 children, mostly girls aged between 16 to 19, being treated for various injuries. 'Most of the children we saw in the hospital had head injuries, shrapnel injuries,' she added.

Srimal Malli,
It is a genuine mistake malli..did you listen to what special force told the forum..he said it was a wrong target..special force a sinhala who really go after LTTE which is actually fine in this forum..he also mentioned about the Pilot who bombed the church by mistake and he could not live with it..he left the force and he is like a nervous wreck..sometimes mistakes do happen..u can bomb the innocent on wrong intelligence..
The main issue is malli..u should accept responsibility like a good soldier and say sorry..look at the GoSL still talking about evidence..That is sad malli
Priyanthy..I am not sure where is the Funeral..i think he is in Jaffna..very sad..he is 63 years old.
I am so happy you have got some information..I spoke to Pidemon and also thuraseee..she is very upset..she is from Chava..(i am from chava as well) |

Dear Professor,
Don't worry about the south; if they keep electing corrupt politicians, that's their problems but our friends in the North have the opportunity to develop themselves without waiting for government handouts.
Hope you have finished your research for the day :)
Btw, you have a point on saying keep electing corrupted politicians. We don't deny that. But its not one way traffic as in the NE. Its all about the better the devil you know scenario. Mahinda is better than Ranil in my view that is why we voted for Mahinda and if he doesn't deliever what we want then next time we can remove him and elect another one which seems more suitable. There are no absolute 100% politicians Professor in Sri Lanka. Being a Professor you must know this factor. By having PhDs does not mean you are blind to see this.
On the other hand NE depends on the GOSL, its a known factor. The diaspora sends money just to make the Bunker rat even more fat. There is noway that the Bunker rat can be a winner its a waste of time and money Professor. Being an intellectual you must advise them what to do best for the country. |
