The Grama Sevaka (a civil servant) of Vallipunam, Mr. Sivarajah, told reporters Monday that the area around the 'Sencholai' home where 61 children were killed and 129 wounded by Sri Lankan bombers Monday morning was a well identified civilian zone with other residential homes, including those for the disabled, sources in Mullaitivu said.
--
The TNA, a coalition of Sri Lanka?s four largest Tamil political parties, condemned the airstrike in which four Kfir jets dropped a total of 16 bombs, and appealed to the international community to restrain Sri Lanka?s armed forces.
?This attack is not merely atrocious and inhuman - it clearly has a genocidal intent. It is yet another instance of brazen state terrorism,? the TNA said.

1) If they were all schoolgirls, why this training was not held in respective schools?
2) Is it usual for Tamil girls of these ages (not kids, but have attained age) to wear pair of shorts underneath their frocks?
3) Why they were wearing dark colored frocks instead white uniforms?
4) In an era of frequent aerial raids by fighter jets, what was the necessity to conduct first aid, life and leadership skills training at 7 am at this fairly jungle covered setup with unmarked roofs?
5) ITRO statement contains a total of 428 participant girls. Chencholai Girls Home number not mentioned and therefore not added to above sum. If it were, total would have been around 500. Where are the corresponding boys? (Humans have fairly equal numbers of children from both genders). ITRO must act now to disclose the boys training camps before being bombed by same jets at any moment.
6) Why only girls were given ?leadership? training?
7) It?s fairly a long time since tsunami hit. Why are they still receiving ?in-house? leadership training? Tsunami hit the South also in equal ferocity and more numbers died here, but, it?s very unlikely that there are more than 500 orphan AND girls in one location for so long.
8) The statement says ?These children were preparing to go back to their homes? and 16 bombs fell on them. Time mentioned by same source was 7 am. Children go home when the training is over, it was 7 am morning, training had been an overnight one! 500 girls to receive leadership and first aid training overnight?
9) ITRO should take one more vital step in enforcing their claim. They have to show the documentary evidence of registering these children with world refugee, humanitarian, tsunami relief, ICRC and other donor agencies with dates.
10) Can deaf & blind be trained in first aid? Could they be trained with other good ones together? Edited By - Helaya - 15 Aug 2006 09:02:17 GMT |

Rasta Thangachi,
What Anizam said on another tread sums up everything nicely...
Now the LTTE can retaliate for this killing by killing hunders in the south. Then We can Retaliate that killing but bombing another place like this. Then the LTTE can retaliate for that...
Lets bomb and kill the hell out of each other.... |

| The GOSL says that it is winning, then why go for talks. The Hon. President says 'solution only thru' political dialogue' Why not give northeast to LTTE, then probably we in the rest may pull our socks and truly make Sri Lanka(The rest) a better place. Competetion. Inint? look what happened to Singapore/Malaysia!!! |
