My heart goes to those killed. Very sadning..... whether it be Sinhalese Tamil or Muslim..... they are all Sri Lankans.

By the way, did we see the same outpouring of sympathy when more than sixty people were cold bloodedly murdered in Kebitigollawa ????????

Are they not innocent kids, elderly people, pregnant mothers & clergy who had nothing to do with this war??????????

Wake up people...... forget about racial biases. We are all born & bred in this wonderful country. Are we not encouraging this sort of tragedies by fighting, abusing & trying to divide this country??????????

Have been reading numerous conspiracy theories today. Personally I think conspiracism is a pointless diversion of focus and waste of energy. Plus it promotes scapegoating as a way of thinking.
I generally try and stick to what is known to be factual and make common sense judgement. On that basis can't see why Pakistani Amb would be target as i don't really see strong enough motivate nor does it fit ltte pattern.

Pls someone tell me..U have to do many things to carry out an attack like what happened to day..
1)They should know the Paki Amb appointments. ---possible answer--inside information
2)The time of the convey to pass near Liberty plaza and the route they are going to take---possible answer-- someone very close..like his personal secy who will know even the correct timings
3)Trishaw--how did they manage to get a trishaw parked at that time..possible answer---Police help
4)Claymore mine--isn't it big enough to be spotted..may be covered....No possible answer!!

This is the second claymore attack within Two weeks..do they have more in Colombo--possible answer--may be in some army commanders help hidden in his backyard!!

A. It was Pakistani National Day and everybody knows that the ambassador will be there to Hoist the flag. This is common Knowledge.

Q. 2. The time of the convey to pass near Liberty plaza and the route they are going to take---possible answer-- someone very close. like his personal secy who will know even the correct timings


A. It is matter of giving a cell phone call. No need for inside info.

Q. 3. Trishaw--how did they manage to get a trishaw parked at that time..possible answer---Police help


A. Three Wheels ( Trishaw) are parked down that road always. There is no Parking restriction there. So, No Police involved.

Q. 4. Claymore mine--isn't it big enough to be spotted..may be covered....No possible answer!!


A. Oh this very easy, Place it inside a card board boxes and it is covered.

if Amb whereabouts and movements is such common knowledge, this really is a security risk that should have been addressed by his escorts.
don't find your answers all that plausible.
