Let us discuss this thread for a change!!
Pls someone tell me..U have to do many things to carry out an attack like what happened to day..
1)They should know the Paki Amb appointments. ---possible answer--inside information
2)The time of the convey to pass near Liberty plaza and the route they are going to take---possible answer-- someone very close..like his personal secy who will know even the correct timings
3)Trishaw--how did they manage to get a trishaw parked at that time..possible answer---Police help

Berty,

That video is pretty sad, I can see what a damage a bomb can do. It is a pity when these kids have to pay the price for something they have not done. Because of unwanted selfish motives of few, innocent people are dying.

My stand is the same always, give the North to Tamils and end bloodshed !

Berty,

I could not stop crying too when I watched a video clip in 'sankathi.com'.

Only barabrians can call these innocent kids as 'child soldiers' and massacare them like these.

I wish the pilot who released those killer rockets or whatever it was, saw those pictures too.

I do not know what to say to those who lost their loved ones.

I still want to believe that there is God above all of us.

May their souls rest in peace.

Kula

Berty,

My cut & Paste has to be in full view. It is an interesting article how DBS Jeyaraj went through LTTE intimidation and death threats.

Diaspora journalists have learned that publishing or broadcasting information that is critical of the LTTE can carry a heavy price. In the mid-1990s, prominent Tamil journalist DBS Jeyaraj published Muncharie, an independent Tamil weekly in Toronto that carried news and features related to events in Sri Lanka and the Tamil community in the West.

As the Sri Lankan army began to make advances against the LTTE in Sri Lanka, the paper reported the LTTE?s defeats, while other Tamil newspapers portrayed LTTE operations in a more favorable light. As a result of his coverage, Jeyaraj began to receive systematic, threatening phone calls on a daily basis. In November 1995 he received thirty-seven abusive calls in a single day.

When he continued to publish critical accounts of LTTE losses, pro-LTTE operatives began to target Jeyaraj?s advertisers and the Tamil shops that carried his paper. In one instance, pro-LTTE operatives visited ten to fifteen shops that carried the paper, seized copies of the paper, and dumped them.

Losing circulation and advertising revenue, Jeyaraj was forced to stop publishing the paper in 1995.32 In February 1993, in an incident that is widely known in the Tamil community, four individuals attacked Jeyaraj in a car parking lot after he attended a movie with his wife. The assailants beat Jeyaraj with baseball bats, and broke both of his legs were broken.

Oh! the Tamils bunch of saints. Oh Stop crying crocodile tears over the kids. As if the LTTE hasn't killed kids before.

Vinivida do you think the GoSL and its incompetent military hasn't tried to target all of the 'LTTE leadership'? If they could have done it they would be in Kilinochchi now, but instead they are fighting to try and take back land they just controlled a few days ago. What a joke, a handfull of 'child soldiers' is pushing back an army of 40,000 'sons and daughters of Sri Lanka'. Keep dreaming, the only choice is for your rapist child killing thugs and goons to go back and leave the soil of Eelam, otherwise they will be going back anyway, just not on their feet.

Raves,

If those people are rich, they do not live in that hell. It is quite obvious that they are very helpless. I do not like much the attitude of most Sinhalese and LTTE. Sinhalese want whole country, LTTE want both North and East. It seems that no one wants to compromise.
To be honest, I spoke with many Sinhalese and told them that SL gov must give North to Tamils, their reply is NOOOO!. Sometimes I surprise, Sinhalese are not living in Jaffna, then why you need it?
