I heard that sinhalease were in sri lanka for 2500 yrs and tamils came to sri lanka 300 yrs ago as servants for sinhalease.Is it true? Also sinhalease are proud of thier race while tamils are bottom of all indian races.
now only 500,000 tamils in jaffna? should be 120,000. this might be what sinhalease want? |

Sometimes it's hard to understand the patriotic Sinhalese. If you guys like to be Sinhalese that much in Sri Lanka, why don't you peacefully live in Sin Hala in southern Sri Lanka and let the Tamils live in Tamil Eelam in the north.
Why do you care if Tamil Eelam would be run by a ruthless dictator? Or do you really care about Tamils? If so, why always talking about crushing the Tigers. Why not turn the logic and start talking about how to help the Tamils?
There are many options for the government to reach and help the Tamils. Simple things like allowing the foreign Aid workers to pass the checkpoints in order to help the innocent civilians. Help the foreign investigation buro's to investigate the terrible killings. Don't hunt Tamils in Colombo when you are attacked by the Tigers in the north. Share the tsnuami funds with the Tamils (no, not with the Tigers. The government has enough equipment to reach the Tamils themselves. If they don't want it, ask the UN. They will be happy to help)
I can't help but thinking that the leaders in Colombo (both Sinhalese, Tamils, Muslims) need this war as bad as the LTTE. Because they need to keep the citizens in fear so these people will turn nationalistic / patriotic and will support the politicians. And the politicians will use this situation to hide their sinister agenda of buying luxury, living large and killing their personal enemies.
Tamils and Sinhalese should ask the following question. And they must answer the question looking at the current situation, not the past.
Are you willing to live in one country with another ethnic group? And more importantly are you willing to say you are first Sri Lankan and second Tamil or Sinhalese?
I would rather see 10.000 countries where people live in peace instead of around 200 where different groups of people are fighting eachother.

Hello Uncle,
Why do You always denigrate the Tamils by stooping to call them racist names, ie. monkies? Is it Really Necessary? Does it make You feel 'Superior'?
Please don't get offended I won't call tamils any names other than they are who they are unlce ok.
LTTE activities don't show me anything better for the names I call them, do you think they deserve to be called as such?
To me who lives in Bunkers? Must be rats or home lost monkies. HUmans don't live in Bunkers because this is 21st century world.
I don't feel superior but I do feel I am human compared to Bunker monkies. Tamils and Sinhalese are humans but do you thing the BUnker rats are humans too? |
