I really like the Budhas ideas on how a converged policies and strategies, where the leadership and the masses focus and direct their efforts togethr in the same direction, will yield greater success.
The problem is, although that great knowledge is there amongst the budhists, the Practice has been dismal, specially in the area of being fair towards civilians; BIG let down indeed.
Again ALL PARTIES COMMITTEE to solve common problems is the best idea, do they implement it correctly and successfully. No again a BIG let down. |

There have been many foiled attacks lately. LTTE intelligence is getting out quickly. Intelligence is getting better and weapons are sharper.
Let's see how it goes. All I know is that heavy fighting is going on in Jaffna.

In fact, GOSL is going to great length to provide relief to civilians affected. It's LTTE's use of civilians that's hampering relief efforts.
The question is 'Is LTTE providing either?'
Good inquiry, the problem is some of the NE Tamils cannot figure out the difference of where they get and from whom. LTTE does nothing other than sitting under the bunker and hammering every nook and corner where as the GOSL getting the aggro from either end of the people for lack of solutions.
I wish that Mahinda must take steps to provide absolute freeway to civilians who are ravaged by this warring situation and shelter them appropriately and then target those rabid Bunker rats areas lock, stock and barrel of it to oblivion.
What the NE Tamils should realise is that they are part of mother Lanka not part of the Bunker rat, who does nothing than preying in Diaspora's fundings, do the Tamils get any money, health facilities from the diaspora? This is something that the government should make aware to those poor Tamils in NE, they are under the misconstruction that LTTE pave the way for their daily bread. Which is sad but understandable when the literacy rate is below average in such areas. |
