that confirmation was from the news conference y'day(sat) morning. reading lot of papers so do not know from where i got it. But it was confrimed by GOSL spokesman that there was artilery fire to Palaly base and one helicpoter damaged and some other H/q bldgs! also confirmed that 2 officers & 27 soldiers dead and 8 officers and 72 others injured |

Isn't it time for all of us to forget the past and come for a peaceful settlement? Why keep on blaming each other and let hatred grow. The killing of innocent people whether they are Tamil, Sinhala or Muslim is enough. Both sides should understand this and come back to talks. But then, both sides should start trusting the other or it'll fail. |

How r u? Its always nice to read your breath of fresh on strategic displays.
Btw, this trend of peace talks is not new, is it? How many times the GOSL has come up with this scenario of peace talks when LTTE are struggling to cope up the onslaught.
I wonder what Mahinda and Keheliya are going to do in response, but we know what happened when Ratwatte and CBK were driving the car.
Lets hope something different to that tune this time.
