so you agree that whoever immigrates to live in sri-lanka, definitely their children will become 'natives'.
Their children will be natives yes, due to parents being domiclied to prior to it.
The problem with your analysis is the eelamists are not upto accepting a Sinhala scripted adminitstration, they want to obliterate everything that goes by the name of Sinhalese and Tamilised it. This is one-way traffic Forest. This is what you fail to realise in your comments. If things work like you say I agree no problem. Its similar to what we have now Provincial Council system.
But the point is the EElamists are not just happy with that. They want more and more & more yet more. The list goes endless. They want those Tamils live in South to live in Sinhalese areas as well as to remove the small minority of Sinhalese in the NE and tamilised that. What do you think they are after? This is common sense Forest, you need to see what is happening Geographically. If you r blind to see this please have a second thought about it. Are we Sinhalese vying to get rid of Tamils and Muslims in our areas? NO. So why this chaos, you need to question that?
Why do you think the GOSL settling Sinhalese in some villages, just have a wild guess. |

Kamani,
I totally disagree with VP and LTTEs ethnic cleansing of the NE of sinhalese and muslims. I think most tamils who are moderate also disagree with this except for the few LTTE supporter extremists in this forum.

I am glad that you slowly realise the detriment that we are facing.
Now in the same lines you can see why we have to be cautious. In the past Hitler did try to create Blue eyed/blonde haired jew-free society and the Churchill and allies thawrted it. We cannot give into similar demands in this small country.
The LTTE is not an organisation who fight for inequality but for a self-centered egocentric opportunism. By giving into LTTE demands you cannot expect developments in NE. That is a mirage. What we need is to crush this LTTE scum and elevate living standards of all people irrespective of any region. That needs proper infrastructure. That is why we need to finish this scum off quickly so the finances can be utilised/diverted effectively. |
