I agree with your points!!specially your explanation on the air power of LTTE!! I am still learning from everyone!! when i came in, i did not even know what was this P-Tom and Tigress explained to me..
The point i like to make is, let LTTE and the SLA fight, but killing of innocent civilians should be condemned!!
The GoSl should allow international media to get into areas where the fighting is going on and report the truth!!
at present most of the Sinhalese do not believe Tamilnet and most of the Tamils do not buy the local media news!!

Frightened residents of various parts of Jaffna are unable to flee their homes due to a total curfew imposed by Sri Lanka?s military, sources in the northern peninsula said. Amid heavy shelling by the Sri Lanka Army (SLA) towards LTTE-controlled Palai and Elephant Pass and warnings by the LTTE last night that it would retaliate against SLA camps in Thenmaradchchi and Jaffna islets, large numbers of people are anxious to move away from SLA positions.

Seems the new tactic of the SLAF is to use the infamous napalm bombs to kill as many tamil civilians as possible.
I thought it was against the Geneva convention for anyone to use Napalm bombs.. but then again, when has the GOSL ever follwed the Geneva conventions. The killings of Tamils civilians will continue unabated, until the LTTE return the favour to the yaks down south..
Let's just hope it doesn't come to that this time! |

It is a WAR out there and there is absolutely no chance to hand over bodies!! whether it is true or lies does not matter anymore, the facts even if they were killed they are someones Child from the south!!
It is not a time to ask questions but to go ahead and push for Peace!!
One day you feel the SLA is in control and they are going to wipe out terrorism but they next day it is the other way around, you loose a lot of soldiers!! it is never a one way Traffic!!
The 40 bodies story is a very old story!! why bring it now!! it is similar to the sluice gates story where the SLA was just 100 mtrs away!! |
