Half the homeland is gone under Allai - Kantalai state-sponsored colonization. Before independence, Trinco was a Tamil city, but take a look at now, the Tamils are fleeing for life. We don't want that happen to entire North - East.
We have these problems because of the State-sponsored colonization and the state sponsored Ethnic cleansing. Why do you think the Indians are not colonizing Kashmir with the Hindus like Srilanka colonized the historic Tamil habitat with the Sinhala thugs.Because with all its faults, India is a true democracy, they respect the minority rights.
Once the LTTE give up the arms entire Tamil area will be Sinahala majority in over night. If we lose our home land we will become nothing, the Tamils will be perpetual second class citizens in Sri Lanka.
The Eelam Tamils are ready to defend their land from the Sinhala state terrorists. That is our land, my parent, grand parents and all my forefathers lived defended and died in that land. We cannot let the Singhalese to colonize it.
Each and every Sri Lankan Tamils in the world will do his or her share to defend that land from the Sinhala aggressors.

Yes, my work is also in strategy and investment banking.
With the information at hand even I did not realise that the lean, mean, focussed fighting machine is no more. Instead LTTE has become a FAT CAT. Sorry to use corporate jargon.
GOSL strategy was in place 6 months ago. Then, they went to Pakistan. Later Rohan Gunaratne briefed the decision makers. Now that they have got the Kfirs fleet ready it looks like they will push ahead.
In the midst of all the good news is Sinhalese have not attacked Tamils in Colombo like in ugly old days.
I am off to SL next month for 'strategy' work. |

I paid the taxes that were imposed on all those using the Common facilities provided by the Tigers. I felt that I received more value for those taxes than the ones I paid to the GOSL or even the taxes I pay here in Australia.
MORE IMPORTANTLY, A SINHALESE ARMED OFFICER SOLD ME A TICKET AT HIGHER THAN THE OFFICIAL PRICE. THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED TO ME WITH THE TIGERS OR WITHIN THEIR TERRITORY. THEY MAY IMPOSE HIGH TAXES BUT THEY DO SO INDISCRIMINATELY.

You say It may be they are keeping the stocks for the final assault and just send baby brigade to the frontline for the time being. But it is quite clear that the funds have 'disappeared'.
If you have worked within those Western governments - you would know that the Tigers are following their leadership.
