Given the accelerated rate of these LTTE terrorists are becoming maaveerars, very soon LTTE has to give a six digit prefix in front of these maaveerars to identify them. Very soon LTTE will be replaced with maaveerars and one bunker rat. |

Because GOSL is fully dependant on IC for everything, including arm purchasing which is not in case of LTTE
Same with LTTE, fund raising, drug trafficing, and finally arm purchasing... |

Okay warmongers on this forum, just calm down a bit.
First of all it was wrong of the Tigers to block water which is essential for everyone. And it only made sense the SLA demanded the Tigers to open the gates so the 15.000 (?) farmers could get the water.
So for me, it should be about the farmers. They are the ones who are suffering in this situation (I remind you, I am talking about this particular situation not about the 20 years of war or the history of Tamils and Sri Lanka). So if the government finds a chance to open the gates THEY SHOULD USE the situation to help the farmers!
What the government does is ridiculous. Why were the first stating this as an humanitarian effort for the farmes, and when they have the chance to help these people they are not using the situation? Are these farmers not important anymore? I guess the pride of the SLA is much more important than the poor 15.000 farmers...

Jaffna has been under economic embargo for more than a decade until the CFA (which instantly promoted civil support for LTTE)!! Was that not foolish move?
All sort of problems due to activities of group of extremist... So get rid of LTTE or force them to join the democratic path with a acceptable solution for all... |
