The way of LTTE acting indicate that they cannot do any political role in diplomatic world. If they are planing and act this way, no grivance can be granted. That is the obvious reason for SLMM to leave SL and allow GOSL to control the situation. Edited By - Mahabala - 4 Aug 2006 20:30:07 GMT |

According to the SLA sources over 400+ tiger cadres have died in the last 24 hours.. and this doesn't include those 350 that were killed prior to the tiger's muttur offensive..
So alltogether according to the defence.slk and SLBC over 750 tiger cadres have been killed in the east just in the last week.
Even with all these casualties the tigers are still in control of the major portion of muttur and have also managed to move towards Trinco.
Even in the whole EP-muhamalai advance, the LTTE lost only about a 800+ cadres, and that was in Vanni.. I wonder how much longer the LTTE will be able to hold on to anything in the East with the mighty SLA killing anywhere from 50-100 LTTE per day.
According to the SLA's calculations all the tigers will be dead in the east by the end of this weekend ;-)
SO.. I say lets all wait and see if the mavilaru anicut is open by monday.. If not.. let's just accept the LTTE won this one ;-) |

Pideoman,
Unbiased, I really see what specialforces was correct. Once, I was thinking that GOSL is loosing it position by looking at the dancing and celebration of pro-LTTE. Then he publish the update and I said we cannot believe it.
But after 4 days, even by analyzing all these pro-LTTE news became total lie.
So, nobody can fool us! But Tamils can be brained washed even by barbers. Leadership, Leadership Man! |

If you believe so, why couldnt they get it yet? They have killed reputed 5-6 leaders worldwide.

Remember this is not a cricket match we are watching. Its not going to end in five days.
Real situation will be clear only after the fighting dies down. For people who are doing a body count it gives a hype, thats all. |

Troops had captured the West bank of the Mavil Aru yesterday and were only 100 metres from the sluice gates, at the time this edition went to press.-Friday, 4 August 2006 - 4:45 AM SL Time
Have they opened the gates now or still at a 100 meter distance for strategic reasons? and what that could be? |

DVD:
having political experience for 1970-2006, President is the ultimate choice for the hi est position. However, the handling of this Tamil issue is somewhat difficult because of unjustified support by diaspora. They must really think that insurgency will have no credibility to get back any rights of Tamils but discussions and political approach is more strong weapon to do the task.
