Sri Lankan refugees in Tamil Nadu prefer life in rough camps to constant fear of death in their country

when it comes to tamils, you grasp the land and make it HSZ, put them in refugee camp ,also send them to country nearby or to LTTE control for survival but for SINHALESE you feed them and look after them . a failed state and a terrorist state what else could be ?

Very Very interesting...
How would LTTE gonna react if unarmed civies storm in to their door step?.....

A million £ Q...

Sad right? Innocent lives should not be sacrified in anyway. GoSL should intervene to negotiate!!

But please remember this was the case when innocent tamils in their own houses faced the sinhala mob in 1983.There were no Govt or its Armed forced to protect them. again SAD but TRUE!!

I totally agree with you. Mahinda must act now

That is exactly i wanted too. I hope you did not mean using force!! that will not work. When your talking to LTTE and when innocent civilains are involved it should be negotiated. It is a very delicate sitaution.

In November 18th 2005, people gave a tenure to Mahinda Rajapaksha to do something that Ranil or CBK failed and hoodwinked to the people in the name of peace.

Do you think people voted for MR to fight the LTTE. No to bring Peace to the country by solving the ethnic issue.

MR failed so far! Initially we all thought there must be a hidden agenda between LTTE and MR and that is how he got the Tamil votes but MR is under pressure by other parties.

I still feel MR will solve this by negotiating with LTTE and we will see PEACE!!

Berty,

Good morning!

What do you think about this water melon problem?

Don't you think that LTTE has bitten the bitter pill?

Hold on people ! This could be part of the genius enshrined in the Mahinda Chinthanaya. Unleash the desperate people who will be massacred like dogs while the powerful people sit back and ...fiddle ?

Do you know that the Presidential Advisor on Trade Union Affairs is a well known drug dealer ? He has a designation like 'Director General' or some such.

These ppl are complaining about the water supply to their paddy fields?? the GOSL has stopped all forms of transport of goods into the LTTE area.. leaving 30,000 Tamils without access to even the most basic neccessities to get through everday..

The government should strike a fair deal.. water for paddy fields.. in exchange for food for people..

After all, crops can't be compared to human lives.. The government is at fault here not the LTTE!

It seems there is no much LTTE supporters in this discussion since they can not justify this. If LTTE don't open the water, Government should not send any things to Jaffna and LTTE areas.

Sinhala leaders are responsible for the situation today.
